He will always be percieved as a rapper by the broad audience because he didnt take the moves it seems to not be known as being apart of one or in this instance two categories of music. When "White Iverson" which gave him his breakthrough of success he should of been like gorrilaz since they are not apart of one category.

It's easy to be positive when you've a residual high on 24/7 and make a lot of money mumbling to a heavy beat, like the majority of rappers in this current generation. It doesn't take skill or lyrics "from the heart" - It just takes a generic script and a good beat to drown it out. There are very few good artists out there, but another prime example of the beat being extremely loud and someone mumbling/moaning quietly over the track is FilthyFranks new album. The definition of "cashing in" right there, mumbled his way through it for a check.
