Luckily I'm a natural loner because I never had much family and then my mom died when I was 23. Been alone ever since, except for a few close friends and now my wife. No Christmas or family thanksgivings etc.

I have always felt the people that get cast out either try too hard or don't try hard enough. Any truth to that do you think? I'd be happy to talk you through whatever advice I might be able to give. Start small. But start somewhere. Even with a question. Hope everything works out.

You're time will come, people like true friends or a partner will come too. At the moment focus all you're energy on becoming the best version of you. And the day when you love yourself and be proud of yourself..... This is the day from which the rest will come all by itself over time. I promise ✌️❤️

Being responsible, mostly healthy and kind are the most attractive attributes. If you got that down. Straight up tell people you are here. Be it a friendship or romance. Open up. Who cares if you are awkward at first. Being awkward is human. I stumbled like fool meeting my significant other. But you know what. I didn’t swipe right on her on an app. I engaged with her like humans want to be engaged. By other humans. I said hey you are nice to talk to then I opened up more and we are 13 months in now. Idk if this helps but sounds like you are young and have a whole life ahead of you to do things to enjoy yourself. Hope you the best!

It’s amazing what we can do when we focus on our strengths instead of limitations and start asking ourselves “what matters to me” rather than “what’s the matter with me”. My whole life i was always surrounded by people and i never really felt lonely. Got married at 26 to a beautiful woman and thought my life was perfect until i started taking things for granted and lost her and everything a few years later cuz of my stupidity and then covid hits, i get locked up (nothin too serious few months) then house arrest with a ankle monitor for over a year. That is the time where i experiences true loneliness and it really hit me so hard cuz i couldnt do anything about it which made it so much worse.. all i had during that time was my own thoughts and i couldnt escape them and wished for someone to keep me company or something but after awhile i started to realize that what i feared the most in my life the whole time (being alone) was a blessing in disguise. I started to REALLY learn about myself and it gave me plenty time to re-evaluate what really matters in life. I actually enjoy being alone now as ive turned into a hermit crab. It's always interesting to me that when these types of rich guys (not the businessmen type of rich guys) describe what makes them happy, it's always the simple stuff. "I bought this land, and now I can spend time fishing all day," or whatever; the point is that I know poor guys that spend all day fishing, but I think that they forget that they get to go home to a nice, well maintained, climate controlled living space stocked with whatever they want - that is the difference.

Post is the shit. I literally tell my friends no so much that they stop asking to hang out. I think it is good to be alone or just chill by yourself sometimes. I think I just like it too much now. My son is 15 and he hates leaving the house, but I think that is this generation. I do miss some good hiphop from post though. He knew how to drop bangers, and his country is good. If you are into that

It must make you really hate humanity when you witness first hand that you can suddenly become attractive to everybody just because you have fame and money, when who you are inside hasn't changed at all.

I plan to retire at the end of 2025 at 62 after 36 years in Telecom as a sales engineer. My wife will retire in May 2026 and she's loving life! But walking away from a good income stream and building the nest egg to living from the nest egg is a scary proposition couple with the alarming recession and CPI report

I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I'd suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

My advice: for newbies to grow financially this year, invest. Saving is good, but investing elevates your finances. Why newbie make huge losses on trade is because investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. that will stop you from trading, this has been one of the biggest problem to new traders, I've learned this from my own experience

That’s basically me now. If I became a famous celebrity and got millions and the women start to come after me, it won’t affect me at all. I know it’s not genuine, and I know it’s not because they think I’m attractive. Where was this even a fraction of this attention before I became famous? They’re not interested in me, they’re interested in the lifestyle they could possibly have being ASSOCIATED with me.

I think people love posty because he doesn’t walk as a ‘celebrity’. He’s just posty and you can hear that in his songs and interviews. I think posty is right. I think we have a natural inclination to be better. Maybe it’s an innate drive? Better to feel like that than to feel lost with no purpose?

This is a VERY American conversation. "Humans" don't have the natural inclination to be great. Some do, but it's absolutely not universal and we should remember every damn day that the US is exceptionally good at producing and attracting people who want to be excellent. And make sure we preserve that!
