Hard to say specifically, I have a jar I've been using for over 2 years now with no issues. I don't use it as frequently as I used to when I just did crankbaits. I would use a tall glass jar ,and not a big belly one ,for a reason, if you are a little shaky, you will bum it on the side, on the way up , you can dip a longer lure or a float . A two by two inches ideal. The more shorter and the wider it is. The more oxigin it will absorb. Which is not so good for it. Use the seal also.
