Thank you for the amazing insights - was the V8 ND2 converted by you? How did you figure out mating the electronics?

Yes I did do the conversion. It's a kit that flyin miata had back then and they had a box to integrate the GM electronics to the MX5 electronics.

let us know if you have luck with the crank bearings. your piston design might be an improvement. king motorsports has pistons. i have one of Sams pistons and another that martin burke had made

As far as finding the bearings?? Customer provided a set so that's good for now. I like to make my own pistons and have some ideas. We will see!
