It's impertinent of me to mention this, Lisa, and the point's not strictly relevant because you don't have a lathe in your workshop, but I'd just like to add for casual viewers that having loose long hair near machinery is risky. Way, way back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and I was in college, we were shown some (truly horrific) safety films. In one, a young guy had his arm torn off at the shoulder when his sleeve was grabbed by a big lathe. He survived, but in another incident a man was scalped (literally) when his hair became entangled. He died from loss of blood and shock. The scariest thing was the speed at which things happened, and the relentless destructive power of the machinery. I know that nobody thinks it will happen to them, but I can guarantee that every victim of an industrial accident will have thought that, too. I just wanted to remind any other (especially female) engineers out there that long hair is fine as long as it's under a net or cap or stuffed down the back of your collar and not wrapped around a lathe chuck. Just like a Terminator, if a lathe grabs you, it absolutely will not stop until you are dead... Take care, peeps! :-)

It was great seeing you at CES. If you need any small parts lathed, just mail them. I'm near San Diego, so one day shipping. I look forward to the next season of BattleBots and wish you the best with it.

totally awesome thanks for showing us around. If I were to do a shop tour I couldn't. I can't get into my shed because of the pile of junk blocking the door.

Subbed awesome videos. I agree with you all you need is a couple hand tools I started taking things apart and building little gadgets with the parts since I was ten as well.
