Instead, I have found an honest independent mechanic in my area that does an exceptional job where I can leave a car for a week or two and he takes care of everything. Good luck to everyone.

I love this channel. I've learnt quite a lot. I'm in New Zealand. I've got a Toyota Aurion (2015). 3.5 V6 (version 3). I've had it since it was one year old. Drove it consistently for 3 years, (went from 42,000km to 151,000 km) kept up good, simple, regular servicing. It's been pretty much parked up since (I have a company car). I can't part with it. Unfortunately, I haven't run it for quite some time. I haven't changed fluids for a while. My thoughts are to actually get it towed to my good service centre (they're honest, knowledgeable and caring too) to have all fluids done and a good look over. I've just finished watching your LS400 video and saw that when you dropped the oil and transmission pan, lots of sludge due to moisture from infrequent fluid changes so, that's why I don't want to start my car. I might get my service agent to clean those too. Battery is good. Always keep it charged well. Any other suggestions from you or the viewers are welcome. Thanks so much to you and your team for your efforts.

God bless you, Mrs CCN, and the whole team. I know too well the stress of wearing all the different hats you must wear doing the day in an attempt to stay ahead of all the projects. An impossible task for sure. Don't get down on yourself, the simplest of projects (in and out/drop off/wait) are the ones that go south messing up the day for the rest of the work that is supposed to get done. Not to mention waiting for the parts, only to have the wrong ones arrive. It must take about an hour just to clear all the cars out of there in the morning so you can work. And oh yeah, the never ending phone calls that go to voicemail, as the cars that are actually complete and ready to go pile up in the shop! Get some rest yourself! Remember that people come from far and wide to your shop, don't underestimate the trust we have in you. Your customers understand that things rarely go as planned, and that even the most routine service jobs can easily turn into week (months) long projects. I just bought my used 2016 Highlander, really like it so far. Have already had it in to get the transmission serviced, gearbox fluids changed, next are the spark plugs/throttle body service. Had the torn leather seat fixed also at a very nice little upohlstery shop the next town over. Spending alot of time reading the owner's manual, too many electric gadgets....So far, love how effortlessly the V6 propels the vehicle, and how smoothly the 6 speed transmission shifts.
