📌Lauren, did you know that cloth furniture can be painted using CLAY PAINT aka CHALK PAINT? You could paint your dining room chairs ANY color you want, I was shocked AND it feels soft not crunchy! You can also paint wood with clay paint. I would definitely paint your dining room chairs, make it a project & film it for your channel..🤔😉 Clay Paint is really great because you don't have to prep the furniture pieces ie: you don't have to prime it or sand it prior to painting! There are some how to videos on YT showing how NICE it turns out, Annie Sloan has a good one!! 😊

We are usually around freezing for a high and around 2o degrees at night. I hate winter. I'm always counting down the days until spring 🤣🤣 I guess that's what happens when you grow up in the desert. Lauren, I enjoyed this furniture shopping video. 8 years ago, I purchased new livingroom furniture. I used to purchase complete sets. No more! My couch is a Lazy Boy love seat size with none power leather recliners because the electric goes out often here in Oklahoma. I did something I said I would never do. Bought a white couch!!! The leather really holds up, and is easier to clean. My side chairs (are leather as well). A tan rocker recliner, and my husband picked a deep dark brown recliner. I also purchased a glass, and gold circular coffee table. I don't usually do glass, I always get wood tables. I just said, I needed a change, and my kids are no longer young. So, I jumped on glass items, and some delicate accents. I've noticed couchs now sit real low, and are deep....almost like a bed style. I don't understand this because older people have issues trying to sit down on low deep furniture, and have difficult time trying to stand up, and get off the furniture.

My daughter has leather furniture and I don't like sitting on them because they're always cold even in the summer time. At Bailey's I liked the gray plaid rocker. It looked really comfy. I could see you rocking Violet to sleep in it. Maybe you can get it in the green color you like. I also liked the last sofa you looked at at Sadler's. The plaid rocker would work with it as well. I'd add the wool blanket you saw in the Nordic Home store. It would look great with the rocker (plaid or green). Of course, I have no idea what you picked, but I can see you seem fond of green. I think a sage green sofa would work well with your family. It wouldn't show dirt as easily as a light tan or light gray. How fun for you! I'm sure whatever you pick will be terrific. Blessings, Janell

I love shopping with you Lauren, I like your style. I was missing little miss Violets smile, I am glad she was in today’s video. I am lucky to live in Amish county here in Pennsylvania, they make some of the most amazing quality furniture. I have some Amish furniture, some lazy boy, some Basset, and some Costco, I think our Costco leather couch is our favorite and it has held up great with the boys. Looks like the prices are about the same here in the northeast.

I understand how difficult is to get the couches all the way up from the stairs. Can’t you get them to bring them in from the kitchen patio? This way you can also temporarily remove the window doors and will give you more space!

Hello I'm so picky Nicky when it comes to furniture. I have 2 chairs n a love seat sofa( which I hate.... ) but one of my dogs loves it ❤ it's her bed. ❤ But my chairs r a Haverty brand which I absolutely love . An no I didn't buy them they were given to me when I moved in someone was donating furniture an I got some of it . They wash up with a wet rag an some spray cleaner. ❤ That's what matters to me. An I did like the green couch an the rugs r so pretty the braided rug with the rainbow colors was pretty . ❤an the round an oval coffee tables I can c Violet playing inside them.... 😂

Dont care for the leather (if its leather or fake leather) its cold in the winter hot in summer. It doesnt breathe . Was told to turn the furniture over look how its made and what it is made of. Furniture stores should have some pieces uncovered in bottom Sometimes older furniture are better as they are made all from wood. The older pc can be can be re posted.if you have one in town. Rugs that are woven should tell you a theaed count. Braided rigs are beautiful you need to put coasters under the legs keep from going threw. You can make a lamp out of anything just about from logs to toys Kits for the light part you can get at walmart to lowes.
