I don’t want you guys to take what Alfred said the wrong way and spread any hate. We’re were only joking with each other! That’s just us teasing, and I always appreciate his honesty. Also, to be fair I was wearing a 3 day old PJ t-shirt out that smelt a lil funky, you’re lucky you couldn’t smell me through the video 😆 I would have said the same thing to him and gotten him to change haha

I knew there was relationship context in his comment. As long as he doesn’t make you feel bad about yourself then I guess you are good. And I do hope we didn’t make you feel bad. But how the video was shown Alfred wasn’t shown in the best light. A man making a woman change their clothes is just the awful and seems controlling. I understand that there is a partnership between you two that doesn’t translate completely in the intro, but that’s all we got and what we can interpret.
@elainebzbz3 жыл бұрын
People are quick to make judgments on others' relationships without understanding context! I think this level of comfort/willingness to be honest with each other is actually very valuable. It's heartwarming to see you defend Alfred, and I hope these comments don't get to you guys. We've also seen Alfred be so supporting and loving-no one clip provides the full picture.

@Carly, several of my friends are Singaporean and when I invite them to a BBQ in Australia I say it's "casual" and they rock up fully glam. They don't get what casual is so I think that Singaporean people think you have to dress up when you go outside of the house. I agree that Tina should wear whatever feels comfortable though, and when you're pregnant sometimes you just can't be bothered making an effort especially when you're close to due. Men don't understand how hard it is at times. I hope Alfred will be an understanding and supportive husband.
@milktoast80713 жыл бұрын
Actually in Singapore, we are probably the country with the least fashion sense 😂😂🤣. We wear slippers to any occasion and it’s always paired with t-shirt and shorts because they are convenient and comfortable. On the contrary, you would be “different” if you did put in effort to dress up. 😆

When I was pregnant my husband saved me from many times where I just wanted to wear a smelly t-shirt because I hadn't been out in a while. Pregnancy is a crazy time, folks. I would've embarrassed myself or been uncomfortable in my clothes/body if my husband hadn't said anything. @Tina Yong, I'm so sorry people are tearing apart that interaction. Tell Alfred you appreciate him and make sure he knows how YOU feel about what happened - I would hate for him to question his intentions. My god! Why is everyone hating on Alfred? He probably knows her well enough to know that once she'll be out and walking around, she'll herself feel bad for going out like that and so probably he was just looking out for her. This is what I'm just assuming. There's a lot more to a relationship or a conversation than what we get glimpses of
@nonaau47913 жыл бұрын
Did you hear the comments he made? If he was worried about her, he wouldn't have made her feel self-conscious. He would've let her wear what she wants and IF she felt self-conscious afterwards, he would just reassure her and say its not a big deal. BECAUSE IT ISN'T. If Tina still felt bad for dressing like that then, she, herself, will be the one to decide what she's comfortable to wear next time.

I know from a good friend, since I myself haven’t been pregnant, maternity clothes are often overpriced, just get normal cloth bigger except for underwear and possible maternity leggings… and, not sure how it is where you life but in my country there are special social malls were you can get almost everything second hand, and there are even special maternity/ baby stores that offer second hand but also possibilities to rent for short times (clothing, breast pumps,…) or even for long ….she is a big fan of second hand because her body changed ridiculously fast because she had triplets…

Yes it's ridiculous! I desperately needed to buy some cuz I'm having a hard time with warm clothing that are loose. Lol im 7 months in and hanging on my Last pair or leggings that is starting to get closer to not fit me. @haweka90073 жыл бұрын
It was a joke
@JustxDree3 жыл бұрын
@@Anastasia-1123 My comment was before her comment as are most of them. I still believe in what I commented. From my perspective objectively. Deciding to wear comfy clothes when nothing fits because you are growing a baby and your partner states there is a problem with you not being dressed up and you say you feel self conscious more than once and he doesn't revoke the joke seems little like a "joke". Keep in mind he knew little of her clothing fit her. Even after she changed into the too tight dress she wondered if she should change back into the comfy clothes. He asked how she felt, she stated the dress was too tight. Again he didn't say to change into something comfortable or revoke the "joke". It's simply just looking out for you and it's good you're buying new clothes then. Do I think her partner should be attacked no but I think many of the comments are necessary for the chance it's only being called a joke after the fact, as it was perceived to not be a joke by many. If it was a joke I'm unsure why it carried over into a state of discomfort. Tina felt the need to change into something too tight after his comments perhaps her self consciousness stated by her is something to be sensitive of. Alfred not being sensitive to her struggle to find something to wear when nothing fits her is insensitive. Whether a joke or not she stated she felt self conscious and that she was uncomfortable afterwards. Still his "joke" wasn't put to an end as such.
@Anastasia-11233 жыл бұрын
@@JustxDree While she said it was a joke, he was also helping her out in a way because she stated the shirt smelled a bit from having it on for a few days. I do agree on the part where she should wear what she wants to and to feel comfortable/wear comfortable clothing cause she’s growing a baby, I agree with that. We all know Alfred didn’t make her out on something tight, she simply picked it out herself. Those two know each other better than all of us, as well as Alfred knows Tina better than we do. She picked out her own outfit for that day. I also want to mention that my comment was in no way meant to come out rude, so my apologies if it did, as it wasn’t my intentions. I also see where you’re coming from.
@JustxDree3 жыл бұрын
@@Anastasia-1123 I totally understand your perspective on them knowing each other and what we see isn't always the whole story. It just seems pretty straightforward to many of us. My former comment was meant to state the viewpoint of how many still may not see it as a joke after the fact. Reading it I see how it can come off defensive please don't take it that way, it's meant to be straightforward for anyone who might not understand how people may disagree with it being a joke. I know many can take at face value it was a joke after it was stated so and might not see how people disagree or still align with their comments beforehand. From many viewpoints Tinas first outfit was chosen for comfort and fit, the tight uncomfortable dress was chosen to appease Alfred and he didn't stop her from doing so after he made it a point for her to change. I just think Tina picked out her first outfit for a reason if there was anything wrong with it like a smell she would have noticed knowing that it was an old shirt. Either way I hope that Alfred's more sensitive, joke or not she said she was self conscious before and after his comment during a time where your bodies changing because you're growing a baby you should be supported in whatever is necessary to make you feel comfortable. I'm glad we both agree on wearing what makes you feel comfortable in your own skin for anyone that is important.

In my case I didn't have a bra with removable straps but I made one by cutting the straps off a bra I barely wore and folded the little bit of strap I left hanging there to make a thing to hook the clear strap to.

Hi Tina! I love your make up videos and I'm so happy for you & hubby on your new addition ❤. Be sure to get yourself maternity/nursing bras and the pads. When I was pregnant with both my sons many moons ago (LOL) I wore a lot of loose clothes with the maternity pants 😉...also, your hair will grow very fast and thick. But after the baby, you'll loose a lot of hair...yeah, it sucks LOL...I'm so excited for you guys!
