I’ll be honest.. I hate the outfits and would literally Never wear them. BUT. I love the idea behind this.. taking inspiration from outfit photos and not necessarily focusing on every specific item they use- but taking inspiration and finding the closest thing in my closet to recreate it! I love this series, please don’t ever stop doing these! I loved the first outfit, really practical and could be dressed up more or dressed down, as you showed us with the H&M jacket. The second outfit was not so much to my taste, although it looked great on the instagrammer and on you. Not sure I could ever wear socks and trainers with a short skirt , or a crop top for that matter!

I've been on the fence about white sneakers. Have had a pair in a cart for weeks and wished they were in my closet to wear quite a few times. Outfit 2 has given me more ideas and options. Since I have white socks I'm ready to buy the shoes knowing they will get plenty of use for many years. I've been wearing an outfit similar to the first and love it, too. I was like you (I wasn't even a sneaker girl!), but then took the plunge with white all star sneakers three or four years ago. No regrets at all!!! They literally GO WITH EVERYTHING! Sometimes it's our mindset that prevents us from trying new stuff. In winter I wasn't so sure about the white and I was gifted a black pair from my daughter, but I almost always go with the white all seasons!!

I thank Alyssa and everyone who encouraged me to get a pair of white sneakers. One reason I hesitated is I bought a charcoal pair earlier this year. They, however, have a larger footprint and look clunky with summer dresses. I've ordered a slimmer pair of white ones similar to what Kate Middleton wears. My coloring is classic winter and the high contrast is very flattering for me.

I think the sock and shoe look is def more of an athleisure casual type look and I've always viewed your style as more relaxed, clean, and slightly elevated. Nonetheless, I always enjoy watching you break everything down. These types of vids always give me a different way of looking at outfit pics.
