Vizio 70" LED TV Not Working - How to Fix No Backlight Issue - M70-C3 - (E700DLB0016-002)

Just replaced the Led backlights in my m70-c3 with the leds from shop jimmy. Worked great! Taking apart the tv can be intimidating however once I installed the new led strips the tv went back together relatively quick. After replacing the capacitors on the power board along with the leds it seems I have a nice tv now!

ANy idea what led strips I need for a 70 inch vizio v705x-h1? I may buy the driver board and led strips to try and fix my mom's tv. Thanks for the video! :)

Hello. I’ll be replacing the led strips on a Vizio E70-c3. I don’t have any thermal tape, or any double-sided tape and the replacement strips didn’t come with any adhesive backing. Would it be safe to install the new strips without the tape, since there wasn’t any there to begin with?

My problem now is my VIZIO D70 F3 the white paper that is with the LEDs has been taped to the frame so bad that it has ripped it. With wholes. I have taped this back. Will this effect the picture coming from the front of the TV now, or do i see this as a waste of time to repair? VIZIO to me is junk and why I bothered to repair it I don't know why at this point. Does anyone know where to get parts such as this to replace, or does the picture still look ok after this happened? On KZbin, I see no one who repaired this model. Please help. Once again I just need to know if the paper that is with the frame and LEDs if torn work ok with little problems or do I need to find a replacement and if so where? Thank you for the help.

hey @shopjimmy, I have a vizio e70-m30 model tv, I had replaces sum parts like the t-con board and the back lights were working, and all of a sudden they jus went out, whilst trying to troubleshoot the no image, basically idk why I had sound and a light black screen with no image then the back light jus went out. ps. would take ideas from other people plz

please help me my tv screen was working last night and i shut it down from the wall instead of the button and its a cheaper brand called first 1 this morning i went to turn on my tv and the screen was black. i checked it with the flash and the words were there idk what to do

Hi. If you can see an image or words with a flashlight to the screen it means your backlights have failed. Unfortunately, we do not carry replacement LED strips for that brand. Thanks for watching!
