I love staying at Coba best and l love the quiet pool and their breakfast buffet. I like Sian Kaan's private beach. Tulum and Akumal have beautiful pools. We have been going now for many years.

Was there a cost for the COVID test, or was it covered by the resort? Also, where did you go to see all those vendors? and also the ones outside? Are those on the Akumal property?

The test requirement for USA travelers to return is free of cost at this time. I don’t know about any others. Everything you see is at the Hacienda. It is near the main gate to the resort complex and all guests of all resorts can go. Be aware many stalls don’t open early and some close early. Best time to go is just after lunch. Jeff (Papaw)
