My dad used to buy a lot of vintage football shirts from charity shops to then eBay but during 2020, a lot of people started collecting shirts and now it's really rare to find vintage kits in charity shops.

I'm shocked. I know "Roy of the Rovers' was long before Nieve's time. But commentators for FA Cup games often refer to "Roy of the Rovers" even in modern times, when heroic football deeds are done.

We used to have a clearance place down the road from me where loads of the matchday clothing would be sold from Birmingham City. I never bought from there but you'd get the unused shirts from St Andrews if I remember correctly.
