And thank you for reminding everyone about the Joann’s app - I do get coupons in the mail, but I’m terrible at remembering to bring them! - so I just use the coupons in the app and the big percentage off coupons can be used over and over till they reach a certain date!

Interesting comments about JoAnns & deals. I’ve found many times the promos seem kinda scammy. Also increasingly disappointed by the quality of their fabrics. Have gone much more to projects that are upcycling when it comes to sewing.

I have a Joann’s about 3 miles at the most away from my home - it has several different price levels of fabrics from one I will nit purchase to one equivalent to quilt shops. It’s a pretty large store although I’ve seen larger ones - maybe it’s the size of the store and who does the purchasing according to the area and what sells? I’m extremely fussy about the quality of my quilt (and other sewing projects) and I’ve been around long enough to know the feel of no way to yes, I love this! I don’t live in the boonies but regular quilt shops are at least 50 miles (and much more) away from where we live - which is a horrible drive because I’d the traffic just to get to them and the time involved. Maybe your shop doesn’t carry the top if the line quilt fabrics that other Joann’s do??
