Shopping in a Fake Market in CHINA 🇨🇳 (GHOST TOWN?)

This is an infamous market for buying designer replicas in Shanghai, and it used to be super busy, I hear. While it's not as busy as before, it's still got some good stuff and good deals. I'm not the best at bargaining but I am getting better. Let me know what you think of the prices.

In fact we Chinese people don't go to these fake markets anymore. We use Taobao or pdd to shop online instead cause the bargain is really a waste of time and annoying.e.g. for the first jersey he gave a price at 300yuan, after a long bargain u bought it with 120 yuan.I searched it on taobao the price is about 50 yuan. Decades before we had no choice but to shop at these market, now these stores are hard to survive so they tried to sell at a higher price to those don't shop online, and fewer people will go shopping there,it's a vicious circle.

There's a psychological side to it. I can confirm the feeling just isn't the same when you're unpacking a dupe, compared to an authentic, handcrafted piece. For me, its like a journey; opening the package, then the box, taking off the paper, layer by layer, smelling the leather... Ahh, you just CAN'T beat that! The only problem is your wallet is a lot thinner afterwardsEven though i've experienced both scenarios, i still end up buying a *esluxy* .

I think that fake market in technology museum station is a popular spot in foreigner tourists. Local people don’t do shopping there, it has much less business than other places in Shanghai. I am surprised it is still there.

Omg yes mine(authentic) has a odor inside too! Idk what it is bcus none of my other *esluxy* bags have an odor. Called lv and they said it was normal and that I could wipe the inside with a damp cloth.I also thought the lining was suede but it is actually microfiber so I'm going to look up ways to remove odors out of microfiber cus the smell stops me from using it as much.

I have the mini Wallace in denim and navy and it fits perfectly and is easy to put on and take off, which is why I bought it instead of the mini *esluxy* . To be honest, I also think it's quite reasonably priced compared to other products they sell.

The reason you can see that the quality of these "fakes" is very good is because they are not fakes in a sense. Many big western brands asked Chinese factories to do processing, so those Chinese factories have formal production processes and assembly lines. These fakes may be exactly the same as the originals, the only difference is that they are not officially authorized, because they may be secretly produced, or these factories continue to produce when those companies leave.

The reason Chinese merchants are successful is they will go down in price to even a penny's profit whereas western merchants want 2000%-8000% profits ! A penny profit is a penny more then before ! I remember when we were buying HDMI and USB cables from China, the manufacturer asked for $0.17cad for a 3ft cable and our Canadian buyers were haggling them for $0.12cad for 100,000 quantities. The same HDMI cables were sold at Best Buy and Future Shop for $79.99cad, this is the reason why none of Biden's tariffs and sanctions will ever work because western businessmen want easy and large profits for doing nothing !

About shopping in China, the products can be classified into two types. For name-brand products, it's easier to buy false ones in online shops than physics shops. For domestic-brand counterparts, it's convenient to buy them online. However, to maintain the physical shops, some companies will only sell some parts of products in physical shops. These products have better quality and more expensive prices because of the cost of rental of shop and utility fees. Those shops you saw might also sell products online. Before the coming of online shops, we also buy false-brand products like you. Nowadays, we get more famous domestic brand products which also have good quality. It's challenging to judge whether online shopping is better or not. It just depends on your budget and needs.

I love how honest you are about everything. when someone is carrying a *esluxy* and you pass them on the street no one can tell whether is fake or real one because you cannot do this much analysis on it. what I hate about LV and why I stopped buying them is that many people assume your bag is fake when they pass you on the street. It's very annoying. one time a woman walked up to me and actually asked me if my bag was "real". after spending almost 2K on a bag and being asked that question was so offensive i stopped carrying them. People look more at the person carrying the bag and assume wrongly whether is real or fake. it is extremely annoying

Are these issues happening if these bags are used daily? I just got the pochette metis in monogram canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the multicolored polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, lol. But I don’t think it’ll be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in DA but only use that a few times a year in the spring and summer so I haven’t put that much wear and tear into it. I hope I don’t see the fraying for a while. Also, I’m saving up for a *esluxy* . Has your colleague seen the same issues with that size? I don’t mind some relaxation in shape but I don’t want it to be a puddle either. Thanks for the video!

The way I see it.Real or fake if it's a style I like then I like it and will buy it. But to me the *esluxy* one looks better than the real one. And who's gonna be inspecting ladies purses.
