And how about making lessons where you would explain japanese language by popular japanese songs? I've seen some videos with that theme that you made years ago and they were super helpful. i think it's more natural as just one sentence:「先頃、紙屋でクリスマスカレンダーを作るのための紙を買った」 if you want to say it as two sentences, the second sentence would be more natural as 「クリスマスカレンダーを作るのためなんだ」since you're explaining why, it makes sense to add なんだ to the end :) hope this helped
