When people come back with gifts or things that they bought from overseas(ex:all the expensive things she bought from Paris),you have to tell the people in customs what you bought.I think that she wanted to avoid paying for them by making them believe that she already had them before coming there.

Whenever I want to keep the boxes, I keep the receipt. I go to the boutique in the U.S, find a client advisor, explain the situation, show them the proof of purchase, and they go in and get you your boxes right away. I hope this helps :)

Zanya Carey lol I’ve never been charged doing this. The value of the items she’s purchased will affect duty charges, not a box or an extra suitcase. She was already at risk of being charged as her items were over $800. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I purchased a Chanel bag during my trip to Paris which was a must for me. I refused to get rid of any of the packaging and also refused to check the bag it was in lol. When i returned to the US i did have to pay a customs fee however the bag was still cheaper than purchasing from the states

Call me stupid but I would have broken down the boxes and folded them flat then tape back the corners once I got home. Even buy another piece of luggage if I had to. The thing is all Louis Vuitton packages are collapsible so that you can fit it in your suitcase so she left all her Louis boxes behind I take every Louis box back home with me if I’m going to spend that much money in store my boxes are coming home I just love looking at them on top of my wardrobe x

The high tops and matching bag were the best pics in my opinion. I've always been a fan of the leather bags because they last so long (straps, shape, etc.) and as they age they seem to look even better. Are there any brand bags in the states that you have thought of owning, or already have in your closet that you'd like to rate (i.e. Shinola or Coach)?
