I know it sounds good but unfortunately this is a form of greenwashing :(( all of sheins normal designs are ripped off from small designers and now they’re featuring some just to make sure people can’t come for them and influencers feel more comfortable partnering with them. It’s really sad to see bc I usually love your videos but shein has such a strong grip on the market that they will do anything to help people buy into this hugely unethical and unsustainable business :(( on earth day too!! ☹️

When you can you should buy from brands that have a lower carbon foot print, don’t exploit workers, locally and ethically sourced materials and not buying into fast fashion consumerism. You are going good. If you can’t buy clothing that is more expensive because it is made from/by the things I listed then you have the option to buy from ‘cheaper’ brands. I love your fashion related videos and enjoy watching them so much. But in my opinion it is problematic to work with Shein as such a famous influencer. So many people are watching this video and see Shein as an amazing brand, they now want to shop at. They see that you, as their role model shop there too and due to that they think it is okay to shop there now. But in reality it is not. Yes, the clothes are cheap which is amazing for people who don't have a lot of money and I don't wanna judge anyone who shops there. But I think that you should use your range for other brands that don't support child labour and are also better for the environment. I mean everyday you can find hundreds of new clothes on the Shein website which is really problematic. Influencers should not support brands like Shein. There are so many amazing sustainable brands who deserve the attention you could give them by collabing with them. I really hope that you will take your time to read all of the comments and maybe even consider to stop working with Shein. There are so many other negative aspects about Shein which other users mentioned in their comments already. I would appreciate it so much, if you could make sure to be aware of all of them. Thank u.

I think she still can shop at this place and make a haul with their stuff. But I would appreciate it, if she tells the viewers the cons of the brand. In order to make a change and turn Shein into a better website, it is important to talk about the things they have to change. In this video she only talks good about Shein. That is the issue I have with this video. She could use her range to make awarness and get just a few people to shop somewhere else (if they can afford it). This would be a little step forward.

When Influencers support the brand with a deal and aren't allowed to talk about the problematic side of the brand, it's harder to make a change. I never wanted to attack somebody who shops there. This wasn't and still isn't my intention. I only wanted to criticize the brand deal and say what I don't like about it.

to be constructive, I think a lot of people with concerns over SheIn in the comments would be sooooo into you doing a thrift store haul making thrifted clothes work with your style! you could even still probably get somewhere like Thredup, Poshmark, Depop, etc to sponsor. you don’t have to sacrifice having cool fashion content for the environment. 😊❤️

Hi Niki, I know this is a brand deal but I really think you should be rethinking taking brand deals with or shopping from Shein. Just because they have one good campaign doesn't negate the extreme unethical and harmful nature of their business practices. No hate towards you, I'm excited to see you stepping outside your comfort zone, but I think that with such a large platform you should be a little bit more conscious about what companies you choose to support.
