Do you put the file on the shopsabre site? I have an IS408 that's itching to make this :)

It has been said, but would also like the Vetric file. Have you considered a library subscription for your projects? I enjoy the trial and error of it all, but this sort of assistance would greatly speed up customers use of your machines.

If you wanted to put it on wheels, how would you go about it on this design? 4x4 blocking for the casters?
@shopsabre2 ай бұрын
That is a good question, we did not put it on wheels so we do not have any experience with doing so but I would likely guess that you would build a frame for the bottom and have attached casters to that frame.

Did yall only upgrade your machine to have nice brass ball valves for the vacuum zones? Hopefully the new ones are that way, cause my IS 408 had those crappy PVC valves. Great Video though, want to make several for my shop.

I agree, I have the older PVC valves and they need an upgrade!!!

Mine broke. The collet wrench actually bites on the broken handle and works pretty well!

I have the old valves as well, and if it's cold in the shop (like mine right now) they just don't work well. If ShopSabre offered an upgrade, I'd pay for it!

The New IS Series comes with the Brass Valves on the vacuum option -- You can check out the details on our Walk Around Video we did on the IS Series last year after releasing it at AWFS 2023

@@shopsabre very nice, I'll probably upgrade mine a bit when I get some time to mess around with it. Still love my machine!

I have a Pro 408. It looks like your dust collection attachment at the motor is quite a bit different. Is that 3D printed? Do you sell it or have 3D printer files for it? It looks like it would increase the suction power.

skip the Melemeain and use MDF and formica but I get it, its easy and done just not strudy

Very sturdy design but absolutely can be built with anything you see fit for extra rigidity.
