I snapped the upper blade clamp on my scrollsaw. Haven’t had a chance to make a new one. My scrollsaw table insert in a solid plate with a hole and a shot, to allow installation after installing the blade.

If you ever need to buy a new tool that has one of the 10er functions (with the exception of the table saw) consider buying one. Simple and built like a Sherman tank; still better for the money in its 70s than any new craftsman. Sadly....

I have 3 10ER's in my shop plus 2 Mark 5's a 60's Mark VII and a Mark 7. I love shopsmith machines. Two 10ER scroll saws and they do amazing work. Nice video!

Curious where you you purchased the blade guard. Thank you for share this video.

The blade guard is from a Mark V. The mounting collars are the same size. I only needed to adjust the blade position using the blade shims. It's been modified since this video but only to improve the suction from my shop vac.
