Hi Ryan, do you think seabass rods are good for shore jigging? For context, I am quite new to fishing, and I want to try some saltwater fishing. It seems that saltwater fishing is much harder than freshwater, I'm not sure how far i can go. I also don't want to buy too many rods. So I am trying to find something that is versatile enough to handle metal jigs and soft plastics, also useful in both saltwater and freshwater. Can you give me some suggestions?

I used to jig using seabass rods but most of them are quite soft. Depends on terrain I would say at times you can.

You may wanna try tailwalk rods. for longer rods. Shorter rods maybe can try Feed rods. Depends on budget.
