Ciao Giuseppe un consiglio, pescando dalla spiaggia, trecciato 20 libre, che shock leader mi consigli di fare? Uso un fluorocarbon 0,40? E quanto lungo lo faccio? Venendo dal surf usavo shock leader di 6 metri o 10 metri, ma qui forse conviene farli corti?

ciao Sea Sky,se sei in una spiaggia pulita,senza troppi ostacoli e con un fondale regolare uno 0,40mm può andare bene,se invece ci sono rocce o ostacoli nel fondale,meglio salire di diamentro,diciamo che uno 0,47/0,50mm sarebbe meglio,uno shock leader troppo lungo come nel surf non te lo consiglio per un problema di parrucche,meglio un buon leader di qualche metro unito da un nodo poco ingombrante come l'FG :)

ciao,certo,ci sono molte marche sul mercato a prezzi abbordabili per iniziare,puoi guardare ad esempio le shimano coltsniper,le tailwalk,le major craft,o le abu garcia,nei vari negozi specializzati si trovano abbastanza facilmente ;)

Nice grouper and that live strike always gets the adrenaline going! Just curious does a slightly bent jig effect the catch rate because some of my jigs got bent a bit and Im hesitant to use them because Im afraid they won't have good action

hi Andy,yes,sure,you can use metal jigs from kayak,you just need a short rod made for jigging from boat ;)

ciao Lele,si a seconda della profondità prediligo un colore rispetto a un'altro,sulla specie direi che statisticamente non trovo relazioni tra colore e tipo di pesce che potrebbe attrarre,di solito per scegliere il colore mi regolo a seconda della condizioni di luce o trasparenza dell'acqua che trovo di volta in volta,ma direi che non esistono regole precise,è una cosa abbastanza personale e "istintiva"

ciao Mario,dipende,a volte se è una giornata davvero sfortunata( con forti correnti laterali,spot ricco di anfratti)magari anche 2 o 3,altre volte nemmeno uno...con gli anni si riesce a diminuire il rischio incaglio al minimo,ma bisogna sempre tenerlo presente.

HI Alexi,if is possible i don't have problem to release a fish,but the problem with dentex and groupers got in 30/40mt depth is the air the belly after that you pump it on the surface,and are no more able to swimming down,if you watch my other video of groupers catch in shallow areas i always release it,but sometimes in some situation or place is not possible to make a properly catch and release,last time i have tried to gently tie from the tail a grouper to a small rocks and then cast it in a deep place,i hope it worked and the fish is still alive cause was not able to swimming correctly.i will upload the video soon;)

Hiking fishing catching the adrenaline photos .. with a release when possible is great fun ;) Bravo for your efforts it sets a good example to others .. Alexi,you are right,i'm not an integralist of catch and release (sometimes i like to eat a fish :) ) but when is possible(no severe injuries or air in the belly) and always with small fish the release is the right way. I know that the major problem are trolling nets,bomb fishing,and other destructive fishing methods,but we must have to all our "small" part,situation in Mediterrean sea is very critical,understand that and start to change into a more responsable fishing is already a first step. Everyone knows youre a great fisherman it shows, try setting an example sometime bro you might actually be surprised how good it feels releasing figh, get your macho hard on pics/trophy shots, and move on, there no fish in the Med for a reason, youre a fine example of that reason.
