I came to Sydney harbour Middle harbour the other day, practice how to jig, how to shore jigging using 30g metal lure fishing. I practice shore jigging about 2 years, and still need to learn how to jig ashore. I would like to share my shore jigging techniques and tips with other fishing man, just for communicating, maybe not right way of shore jigging, but sometimes could catch some fish.

Thank you Albert 👍Welcome to Sydney ! Yes, most them is safe cause they swim from outside when season is coming, and they would swim back to outside after season, like Kingfish, Tuna, Bonito. hairtail, etc. Some fish like bream, Flathead not eat too much, cause they always stay inside.

HI Kim, jigs have many kind of ways to do such jumping,lot's my friends new to fishing, sometimes could get the fish when used the metal lure. so I don't think you did wrong, just because there have no fish around at that time. Keep casting, you are sure to get the fish! 👍 👍 👍

Yes, almost every time, here or there, near you, or far from you. sometimes plenty kingfish chasing school mullet ever within 1m from you. Looks amazing!

Last time I was there you can even see kinggies swim right at your footstep, a few ppl threw lures at them but they just didn’t take them

Hi Mate, thanks for your support! 👍My personal opinion for salmon/tailor, jigs around 5-20g is better, like a small fish style, white or silver, or white and silver. This kind of fish like stay from middle to top water, or chasing after school bait, bust on top water, so make more actions on top level of water. I also got plenty of them with my popper on the top of water. May you luck!

Hi Steven, yes, sometimes I would like to drop the lure vertically and naturally, without any control, maybe fish would like this way better, it's my personal opinion, but this is also making another problem, fish could take the whole lure without any signal, and then cut the line, the same status as my video showing.
