It was in December last year, my friend who lives in Bethnal Green left the house in the morning, and the opposite house was raided by police, helicopters overhead, door broken open and about ten police stormed in with rifles. Good old Shoreditch:)) Absolutely love it there!

Hey now, there's nothing wrong with your coat. I say poo-poo to the naysayers. As for this video, another informative and enjoyable one. I can say I actually have been down Brick Lane and into the VIntage Market store when we visited London. My nephew was shopping for what he calls ''ugly old man sweaters''. He found a few in there, and yes they are not the most attractive things to look at hanging off the rack, but he manages to make them look good when he wears them. I enjoyed visiting that part of London, it was something a little different for us to see and great shops to browse or buy. I'd love to know where some of the names of these places originated from. There's some way out there names of areas, like Shoreditch... Is it near a shore and was there a ditch? ;-P ... and yes I just watched this at 3 am in Canada because i have insomnia but glad I had 3 minutes of fun video time :)

Thank you for the coat love - I need it lol Historic Shoreditch in East London. Historians believe that Shoreditch got its name from water that ran across the area's marshland. It was originally known asSoersditch, or Sewer's Ditch ;-) Syrus

😆 I absoloutely recommend Crystal Palace / Sydenham, there is ĺoads of stuff to do and you will have a great time. BONUS: Can you find the abandoned Crystal Palace subway?

Ah, one of the many gentrified areas selling pretentious hipster tat, which the tourists and non-locals love. Great that the area has been cleaned up. Hate that many businesses and locals are being driven out due to costs. The best curry houses are in the West, by the way.
