Ordered mine a few weeks ago; just arrived, written instructions that come with it are mediocre. This video brought it to LIFE so I'm now ready to start sharpening with the MK2! Thank you for taking time to make this excellent video!

Very informative video. I bought this after your first review. It works great and really appreciate the recommendation. That clip for smaller chisels would be a nice addition. Keep it up.

Nice video.... id like to see which is faster for resetting a bevel.... the fast track or a standard jig and stone

That would be a good test to try. I have the Veritas sharpening jig as well so maybe I will do a shootout between them. Thanks for the comment!

not sure how great the strop on the bottom is if you have it screwed to a bench or a bench hook . . .

It’s really a nice jig to use for sharpening. Makes the process so easy. Much quicker than setting up my Veritas jig. Thanks for the comment.

Hi, a Tumb up from Argentina!! I didn´´t understand the process of change the blade from 25' to 30', could you explaind it?

Been a while since I research this but I believe there is like a slide inside the carriage you move to give you one angle or the other. There is a separate slide on each side so two total. It might be inserts for the base though. Where the area you rest the chisel or plane iron sets the angle. I can’t remember, but I remember it being pretty simple.

Why did you skip over changing the stones/angles? That is what I would want to know.
