Little River Band ULTIMATE HITS and MASTERPIECES
On October 14th, 2022, after 5 years of planning, Universal Music will release Little River Band ULTIMATE HITS and Little River Band MASTERPIECES on CD, vinyl, and digital.
In addition, the first 10 studio albums have been remastered (with previously unreleased bonus tracks) and will be available digitally on October 14th, 2022 and expected to be released on CD in 2023.
The companion volume MASTERPIECES presents many of the songs which were band and fan favourites, but were not released as singles.
The music for the promotion trailers was composed and arranged by Nathan Goble, mixed by Joshua Goble , mastered by Ross Cockle (LRB's first recording engineer). The visuals were put together by Design Director & Motion Designer Andrew Barry.
Such a major project required many dedicated people to bring it to fruition. Thank you to Victor Marshall, Elliott Marshall, Ern Rose, Michael Costa, Tami Dickinson, Rich Dudas, Aaron Haywood, and the Little River Band alumni for their invaluable contribution.
The new CD and vinyl releases include a newly written Little River Band biography and over 70 restored photos by Victor Marshall.

I'm a middle-aged American who first discovered Little River Band on KZbin about six years ago. I can honestly say they are one of the most phenomenal bands I've ever heard! ❤

The very first concert I ever attended, included the Little River Band. I'm talking the REAL LRB with Graeham Goble, Glenn Shorrock, and Beebe Birtles, not that fake tribute band now touring led by bassist Wayne Nelson. That concert was in 1977, LRB opened for Dave Mason. They had just released the Diamantina Cocktail Album, which included Happy Anniversary, and Help Is On Its Way. It's a crying shame that Nelson and that bunch have the naming rights, Goble, Shorrock, and Birtles wrote ALL those hits. The current LRB wouldn't exist without those amazing songs

I’ve seen a lot of concerts. I lived in Vegas for nearly 40 years. I can’t count all the concerts I saw at the old Aladdin Theater. To this day, the LRB concert during their “Time Exposure” tour was the best concert I’ve ever seen or heard. They opened with “It’s a Long Way There.” At the conclusion of the song, I still remember sitting there with my mouth open; absolutely amazed with the perfect harmonies of the vocals and tight instrumentation. It only got better from there.

I'll never forget: We were playing a club that was popular with the the areas top bands; it was a Wednesday night and we opened the 3rd set with "Help Is On The Way" - we nailed the music and the vocals - after which a few of the uppity cats came up and showered us with praise. In order to keep the dance floor groovin' we cut out that great bridge. The Little River Band belongs, forever, in the rare echelon of the best rock harmonies - and they did it live to perfection.

Not all Americans think the current band is the real deal and we that know have let others know when ever it is needed in comment sections on the different platforms. Those of us that were there then know it was Glenn, Beebe, Graeham that were and will always be the real LRB!

Graeham, if you read this, you are incorrect when you say at 3:40 in this video that your record label in the USA (Capitol-EMI Records) never put your faces on the covers of your most successful albums. Both your self-titled 1975 album and "Diamantina Cocktail" (both originally released in the USA by Capitol's sister label Harvest Records) had your faces on them. Your 1977 album "Sleeper Catcher" also showed you all's faces on the cover playing an Australian game Two-Up, which us Americans weren't familiar with at the time. Your 1979 album "First Under Time Wire" also showed your faces sitting in an arena. And your 1980 live album, "Backstage Pass," which Capital-EMI released as a double album in here in the USA which combined two single live albums you all had originally released in Australia, also contained individual pictures of your faces on the cover. The only 1970's album that didn't have your faces on it was "After Hours," which Capitol-EMI never released in the USA, so we here in the USA never knew about that album until the birth of the Internet allowed us fans in America to become familiar with it. This and the legal situation with Stephen Housden that prohibits you, Beeb, and Glenn from touring the USA under the band name. Whilst Americans born after 1980 may not know that the current band touring the USA isn't the original members, trust me when I tell you, they will once they Google Little River Band on the Internet and discover the truth. That's the one thing that Stephen Housden can't prevent with all of his lawsuits against you all. He can't prevent us Americans from getting on the Internet and Googling you all. That's why I told you in the e-mails I sent you several years ago to keep working the You Tube circuit instead and keep publishing both your LRB and solo material on You Tube. Stephen Housden can't prevent that and by doing so, you are exposing him at his own game. The Internet is the one thing that you, Beeb, and Glenn have now that didn't exist back then. Use it!! I will also tell you that us older Americans who grew up back in the 1970's listening to your material and had your albums back then do know you, Beeb, and Glenn as the original members, songwriters, and vocalists of Little River Band!! I have seen the American version of band currently touring here, but I did so with full knowledge that Wayne Nelson has only been a member since the 1980 album "Time Exposure," whose face along with the rest of you alls also appeared on that album's cover also. That was the last album that had you alls faces on the cover. The rest of you alls 1980's albums and the one 1990's album "Get Lucky didn't, but that album did have your faces on the back cover. Maybe you, Beeb, and Glenn should make a bet with Stephen Housden and Wayne Nelson that BSG could draw a bigger audience then his Wayne Nelson lead band if he would simply let you all use "original vocalists of Little River Band" in the marquee for one tour. Call it the American version of Two-up.

Nope. The current TRIBUTE band, led by bassist Wayne Nelson doesn't have a single member of the REAL Little River Band. Nelson was hired by the real Band in the early 80s, and to his credit he sang lead vocals on Night Owls. BUT, Graeham Goble wrote that song, along with most the other hits. Goble, Shorrock, and Birtles are the REAL Little River Band, and they always will be to their true fans

💯 % agreed! My Mom got to meet and hang out with them on their tour bus on their stop in Tulsa in '83 I think... their song Fall from Paradise is my absolute most favorite song! I can see the music video in my head, all the people line up by the Jordan River, watching Jesus perform miracles and listening to his sermons.❤

Really Sucks cuz coming up at the end July, we have the Charlevoix Venetian Festival, was really excited to here that LRB was going to one of the bands performing, now I hear that it's probably the fake LRB.
