Just lovely. I started getting my nails done about 30 years ago. I've been a lifetime nail biter but here and there I've tried to stop biting but whenever they grow out they are paper-thin and crack. Worse, whenever they get wet they bend and are done for. I recently started doing polygel myself and it's very challenging but I'm slowly learning thanks to several you tubers including you. Pretty soon I'll be an old pro.

Suzie from Nail Career Education has just done a video using liquid latex to prevent contact on the free edge for “puffy” skin that makes sculpted extensions hard on bitten nails! It seemed to work really well! As long as you don’t have a latex allergy, it should be an easy extra preventative against product allergies! 🎉

What a blessing to find you... i have never bitten my nail till few months ago. I was watching caso cerrado show and i saw a young woman bitting her nails till they bleed. Her story was shocking. I started crying and biting my nail and i haven't been able to stop😢. I try many things with no good results. I am going to try your method. Thank you and God bless you 🙌

Great nails. They look very natural. I only use polygel... Makartt is the brand that works well on me of those I've tried. My natural nail is thin like a child's nail. They peel in layers -like an onion if they are not protected from ALL water. I also suffered from hyperhidrosis til I had my son at age 25. I'm not sure if that affected the condition of my nails. But polygel has been a blessing! My asthma wouldnt tolerate going into a shop for acrylic... now I do my own at home.

I stopped biting my nails years ago. But I still keep my nails very short. Just over the tip of the nail. I like dual forms but I have a horrible time with them as I also have a small nail bed and have trouble finding forms that fit right. This is a great tip. I am going to practice and see what I can do. I do this for fun so if I can acomplish it I am thrilled. Great videos. I enjoy them so much.

Great video. I just started using polygel and have only tried Makartt. I did my nails like you did in this video with the clear jelly colours by Makartt. I do find Makartt fairly easy to use but have nothing to compare it to, can you recommend a brand that has maybe a bit harder consistency to make it easier to work with? my favorite brand for building is definitely madam glam . so easy to shape , only issue is it’s nowhere near as clear as markartt . i tends to always use a “pink cover” type of color for my first layer of gel so it’s not a big problem for most looks.

Anastasia I thought using forms would allow to avoid uncured product on the skin and reduce the risk of developing allergies. Was I thought wrong?
@Nailcou5 жыл бұрын
That';s correct! But on these nails it extremely hard to fit the form as the skin is pushing it upwards. It is better to check the skin for irritations first by applying a little product first. If there are some scratches / peeling on the skin - this method won't work

You say don't put too much product near the cuticle then you say add more product to larger margin between skin and nail. Please can you give me exact steps for this please as I'm doing this method of yours on a client tomorrow will really help. I am going to use it method with tips and only using polygel to create a tip then great the actual nail. Once the tip is created and cured at this point could I use a metal nail form underneath so product doesn't go underneath then i won't need to drill. Please send info little bit desperate. You are the best at doing fixing I swaer u amaze me so that's why I came to your channel thank you
