Yes, there's different modes it scrolls through with the buttons on the side of the windshield wiper controls. There's time driven (this also warns you if you drive more than 2 hours without a break), current MPG, average MPG, average speed and remaing distance until empty. The display also shows radio info and warnings such as gas and maintenance. You can program it to warn you if you go over a certain set speed. It will tell you if there is a light out (and exactly where)...and a lot more!

I have a 2008 A4 2.0T S-line with Tiptronic. It's good to see a mid-mileage A4 that is in good order with many of the same toys mine has. I absolutely love my A4, it conquers the road as well as any Mercedes we have had, but delivers the agility I came to expect when I had my BMW. I have taken many road trips with utmost confidence--some in very bad weather--and the Quattro, adaptive xenon headlamps, heated seats (six settings, great heavens!), and rain-sensing wipers are all superb!

That center console was cracked wasn't it? Same thing happened in my A4, and pretty much any other A4 with a decent amount of miles on it.

A k04 will do, also replace your injectors and send your ecu to APR to have it retuned with a stage 1+ program. that should give you around 250-260 HP. also look into a cat delete and catback exhaust system.

Thanks for the info,I did buy it last friday I got a great deal on it compared to other prices in losangeles it has 68k miles,drives great,very smooth and a lot of power for a 1.8,nice black leather,its not the quattro though,I will take your advice and check for all those maintenance issues when I take it in to get its first oil change,thank you very much for your honesty.

Depends. Do you have the 1.8T engine? If you do a simple ECU tune can bump you up to 225hp. Doing a k04 turbo swap and a tune will take you even further.

I have one, great car, quite reliable engine. Don't get a CVT, make sure it is quattro, check the belts( accessory and timing ), fluid changes, fuel filter/fuel pump and ignition coils( Rev D ), and spark plugs...sounds a lot but if it is used w/ high miles you'll have to check those things anyway. Bought mine at 53k miles, now at 132k miles, problem free as I kept up with the preventative maintenance.

Suggestion, do not rev a turbocharged engine for several minutes after starting so the oil gets warm and lubes the turbo bearings. Conversely do not shut off a turbo engine for a couple of minutes to allow the bearings to be cooled by the oil. I bought an 05 Volvo S80 Premier for my wife. It has the 2.9 inline six with the twin turbochargers and is “adequately “ powered.

$6K. Good condition overall. So far no complaints. Trunk motor went out and water pump as well. I replaced both and still rides like a jewel. Not regretting this purchase at all. Eye catcher all day long. Go for it. Just do it. I'm loving every time I turn the ignition.

I am going to look at a ultra sport on Monday in excellent condition 1 owner. Pretty stoked.. Only thing is im not sure if I like the Reverse on the bottom left of the transmission. I just sold an Acura RSX Type-S and I loved how it sat right next to 6th gear.. but would not allow you to go into reverse while rolling. Oh yeah, Ill also miss my 6.5 0-60 in my rsx as compared to 8.3ish in the 1.8t. U gotta sacrifice speed for luxury i guess!

Actually, in total, these are reliable. They are high maintenance however, but Audi doesnt hide this before you buy. And actually the timing belts are recommended to be replaced after every 80,000 miles.

@saxman112 lol even our 2004 Chrysler Pacifica has RDS, and it was actually built in April 2003. My dad's 2003 Lincoln Town Car has RDS too, you just have to push the button to display it, tho.
