Strong Rhystic Studies vibes going! I think the shift in application of the luck philosophy from game to game is interesting, as it applies differently based on the known vs unknown variables. Comparing the role of luck in chess, Magic, and dice based tabletop games like MCP, for instance.

I definitely do think getting paired into Jacob as your first top 8 pairing was EXTREMELY unlucky. Imo thats the worst matchup compared to a lot of the Genesis. For example the red/blue genesis that got 3rd only ran 1 clashground. You could have dominated that matchup easily but didnt get that lucky pairing.
