That's one thing that has always put a wrinkle in my salmon fishing, every day they want something different. And sometimes the way it ends up, the bite is just tailing off or gone totally dead by the time you've figured out what they want to hit. Very frustrating sometimes. I’ve done good on both but I have had some days where I can troll short bus and never get bit all day but everyone using pro trolls is killing them there’s definitely a slight difference beteween them and they will tell you which they want for sure!

Secret lure? Just from a glance it looks like a spinner with a 3.5 Colorado blade (VIP the Goat color) with a single hook in a 1 3/4" pink hoochie and a treble trailer hook! Am i close lol. Btw i hope so ive been making mine for 5 yrs

The Catch Zone app has every regulated body of water in Oregon, Washington will tell you when , where and how to catch fish also all the rules of regulations.

Where do the regulations allow bait in the Willamette? I see the section that says only lures are allowed and bait is not allowed and then refers to exceptions, which I don’t find any allowing bait. I’d like to use the same bait but want to find the regulation first.

Found it under Exceptions, Willamette (Mainstem)(sic). Regulations are more tangled than my leader box.
