I’d like to use russet potatoes. How many should I use?

I’d say about 5 large ones will make about 24 ounces of mashed potatoes, but make sure to add some milk and butter (or non-dairy creamer and margarine) to them when you mash them, to make them creamy. You’ll also need to add an extra touch of salt.
