Easier way cut the the stock shave down a small limb saver stock .. Drill small hole inside the stock of the gun. Install a dry wall anchor in each hole . Instead of using the screws that came with the limb saver use a 2 1/2 on the upper hole and a 3 inch scre.on the lower

As the length is shorter, the center of gravity changes. The center of gravity position of the rebound after firing varies. It's okay?🤔🤔?

The center of gravity changes very very minimally compared how much it changes when magazine tube is being emptied or filled. But generally it can be said that the closer the center of gravity is to the body, also easier the shotgun control is.

The center of gravity is related to all of the masses and their eccentricity to the central line of the center of gravity. Think about a pistol slide ....the higher it is from your hand the more the muzzle rise. Since the mass of the piece of the stock is low and it's center of mass is close to the center of mass of the metal parts and onboard ammo it doesn't effect the center of gravity as much. If the stock was very heavy compared to the gun and more eccentricity to the the mag and receiver it would make more difference to cut the stock.
