Hi Jaakko! regarding the new nova speed. would you say it’s also possible to do boar hunting with slugs with it taking advantage of the aim point on it and using it for birds or clay shooting by changing the recoil pad angle? I do like the shotgun characteristics, weight etc.. but not sure if to buy one for every use or not. thanks in advance

Hi! I think the Nova Speed is the ultimate multi-use shotgun. It is very light, so easy to carry for hunting. Rear sight is good for accurate shots with slugs and buck shot for boar, roe and other bigger game. With the rear sight flipped down, the shotgun is good for birdshot, clays or birds. There will be a solution from Innovatac to remove the long magazine extension for hunting. Weight of the Nova Speed is balanced, it handles a lot like a M2. The factory stock is Comfortech 3 with traditional geometry. I have cut mine to compact (-20mm) and added Innovatac tapered adapter. Personally I do not have any problems hitting birds and clays with a stock that is fitted for dynamic shooting. All my shotguns, for sports and hunting have the same stock (cut to compact and added 20mm taper). But the Innovatac adapters can be removed, so one could have a short tapered adapter for dynamic shooting and a long straight adapter for bird shooting. If one would like use different shooting style/stance. It takes about one minute to change the Innovatac adapter/recoil pad assembly.
