How do you determine your refractive status? It is by the health of the tear film; which is the first refractive layer! But if you don't have a good tear film it's like trying to look through a car windshield with water droplets all over it; like it's going to be fuzzy, and you're going to catch glare! So do you need vision correction or do you have dry eye?
1st Important Point: When we first have dry eye syndrome, before its dry, before it hurts, ti can actually give you blurry vision! Or feel like your perscription is off.
2nd Important Point: Neither blue light protection or anti-glare glasses will help.
3rd Important Point: If your vision gets better when you blink, that'll tip the doctor off to possibly dry eye syndrome. Get an eye exam!
4th Important Point: If you think you may have dry eye and you've already been your regular doctor it might be time to head to a dry eye specialist.
