when MadTV hit the sweet spot in sketches, it blew away anything on SNL or other comedy sketch shows.

The ladies on MadTV brought it time and again. Debra, Alex, Stefanie, Mo, Nicole......just an absolute dynamite ensemble cast. I've yet to see their equal.

A second tribute comment: Mo Collins has become one of my favorite comedic actors to watch. Her understanding and appreciation of physical comedy, in all of its aspects, is incredible and intelligently applied, and always with perfect timing. Just watching her both subtle and not-so-subtle facial expressions and physical movements in the "Baby's Room Skit" was a sheer joy to watch! She is truly a gifted comic, one that shows creative genius.

I am always amazed at the sets that were designed and built for each great skit. They were so exacting in replicating what seemed required for each plot's particular needs. The set designers and construction crew(s) have such wonderful artistic talents that need their proper recognition, as well.
