I’m fairly certain the “undiscovered” egg group is the way pokemon typically describes all pokemon (including legends/mythicals) that don’t breed. So Tobin got 2 gimmes, technically.

Honestly, that had me so confused, because Pat said Monkidori didn't have an egg group. Initially, I thought he meant it as "his egg group is undiscovered", but, since he clearly stated that roaring moon belonged to the undiscovered egg group, guess that whatever they were using to research the egg groups simply didn't have any egg group listed for Monkidori. Weird, I guess it's because he's a new pokemon that we have very little knowledge about

I like Pat having both Myrkul and Bhaal the D&D (at least in the Faerûnian Pantheon) god of Death and Murder, respectively. Too bad he didn’t also have Bane (god of Tyranny) as Myrkul, Bhaal, and Bane are the successors of Jergal the former god of death who divides the job among the three of them when they (as mortals) came to usurp Jergal’s throne (which he willingly gave up because he was tired of it).

@@claywilliams7579 When a Pokémon with Thermal Exchange is hit by a Fire-type damaging move, its Attack is increased by one stage. It does not provide immunity or reduction to the damage. It also prevents the Pokémon from being burned. Unfortunately it’s not like that.

Water 1 group Pokémon tend to be mostly terrestrial Water-type Pokémon, with few fishlike Water types among them. Most are capable of both land-based and aquatic locomotion. It can be thought of as being similar to the Field Group in that it is a "catch-all" Egg Group for aquatic and semi-aquatic animals. Pokémon in the Water 2 Egg Group are mostly fish-like, with a few members being based on cephalopods. The Water 3 Egg Group is mostly characterized by its members' resemblance to aquatic invertebrates; most are Water types. This group also includes several Fossil Pokémon, totaling a little more than half of those which are capable of breeding.

The Field egg group seems to be mammals (rather than a catch-all group). That's why Wailord and Diglett can breed, because they are a whale and a mole, so both mammals. Dewgong, Walrein, Primarina are seel-ish, Palafin is a dolphin, Swoobat is a bat, Cetitan is a whale, and so on, so it looks like the game designers are intentionally putting mammals in the group.

why not make it like this? both sides choose 10 starters for themself, but the other person can choose a random pokemon each round of the other person can't have. so as example, if patt has 3 pokemons in front of him for himself. his opponent can say he can't pick number 2.( he doesn't know which pokemons patt has in front of him) and then patt has to choose between the 2 left over mons. after both sides have done this 10 times, a random number generator will decide their team of the pokemons they choose in the end.
