Just a 20 minute video of CB listening with some ham stations too. I scrolled from 26.995.00mhz to 28.500.00mhz

First, I could have sworn that as you headed north of Ch 11, 27.085 where it sounded like you heard the same guy, basic CB Superbowl style Skip-Jive lol anyway it sounded like we heard a bit of old school, over the horizon radar aka "Russian Woodpecker" with that telltale 10Hz slapping sound.

Hello and thanks for the video. The handle is Leo. My equipment is as old as I am HII HI. I am going to sell off all my "stuff" as I am 78 in a few days. My thought is to "keep it simple ". Over the past 60 plus years I have built stuff and listen more then talked. Q. would you buy the G90 today or buy something else ? Thanks so much and 73 Leo k

I think that "weird" signal you are seeing is atmospheric research transmissions. It also goes on down below the CB band in the 26 Mhz area. Search the FCC database around that area and you will see certain areas that say RADIOLOCATION or METEOROLOGICAL. As for these people operating in this area, I can't believe as a ham, you don't know what freebanding is.
