They went with Beanie because Beanie was hot off the Hello Dolly bus they thought that would carry them Beanie took the job. At the time of casting, Sho was still on reserve when she was offered MSN and Funny Girl producers released her to MSN Producers because they thought they made the right choice. Clearly that was a major misstep in casting.
