It’s very innovative but for a hunting rifle they need to get real on that price. It’s cool though but no one truly wants to hunt with a rifle at that price.

Over here in europe most strasser rifles cost you about 3000€ which is like 3400-3600$ but they can go up to like 18000€/20000$. The more expensive versions don't give you any added funktionality though but nicer wood and engraved metal parts. Strasser is primarily an hunting rifle manufacturer and thats what european hunter quite often want.

@@MrNingawarrior Thats actually not that large of a price tag for a rifle like that. The Blaser R8, Mauser M03, Merkel Helix, Sauer 404 Rifles, Lynx 94, Steel Action HS and so on are pretty much in the same segment. There is no need to produce lower end rifles since we can just buy american. Also the need for hunting rifles is quite different since there is no license system but somewhat of a lease system in which you either own the land you hunt oder pay for an own district so if you hunt you're not poor anyway and you dont want to show up at a larger hunt with your black bolt action rifle because you definatley need to show the old men that you got it :D I use a Tikka with polymer stock and a Benelli M2 at home but change to a Krieghoff Classic for when there are people. Now that was a paragraph wasnt it :D

If you can find it, check out the Mars Inc booth. They are building a recoilless 308 rifle platform. Incredibly innovative and I haven’t seen any large KZbinrs cover it yet.

I think this initial production is mainly catering to the competition and target shooting communities. Even though I live on barren tundra, a 3oz. potential trigger is a bit much for me, but it's great to hear it's completely adjustable.
