I like the butterfly knife but if your going to use a knife for chopping machete style then I think you should have a full tang. My personal opinion and I’d be afraid it break at folding point. In all it’s a good knife.

Did they say the Principle was from Portland which makes it a USA knife?
@innerbarkoutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Not sure. They could be doing the way of Leatherman, which is 99.9% of the manufacturing process in the US, but can't say made in USA because of the .01%.

With the Ontario Rat 2 D2 at $40, how do companies justify selling D2 blades for $60 (Flatiron D2)? Like i get that you have a cool pinch panel and some slightly upgraded scales, but who buys Gerber for the upscale features? No one. I could see maybe 45 or 50 for the unique blade shape, but that's it. The CRKT Pilar Large is $50 with D2 steel, G10 scales, and coated blade. On a more upbeat note, at $40 price point, I'd totally be interested in the Armbar Drive if the retention issues with the "slip joints" were fixed and the scissors were beefed up a bit.

I do not understand the hatred towards Gerber, They make good knives. I remember the times BG knives trash talked (still is) and guess what? I own a BG ultimate survival knife and for 5 years I have abused that knife and was my main knife for 5 years. IT WORKS GREAT!! stop being picking small things. it is an underrated knife why because uses chinese steel?? So you want something that will last, strong, help you survive, but you do not wanna pay 200 dollars? there you go,
