LMFAO!!! Kids and backpacks are like Marines and ball bearings. You’re still buying them a new backpack every year.

My 70 year old mom loves the Maxpedition bag I got for her 12 years ago. She uses it as her primary bag for cattle rounding, sheep herding, horse riding and it holds her Ruger MKI real well. She had to take a shot at an aggressive coyote on one of her horse trails. She has purposely left it out (kept pistol with herself) as a marker for a neighbor to find it near a sheep that had a lamb out in the middle of nowhere and she could not fit all 3 new born lambs on the horse and inside the bag....yeah, inside the bag is where she would carry them if there were only 2 lambs. It has a very small tear and stitched with burlap...still holding well. Thank you, Maxpedition.

That's amazing to hear...After all these years are there any tips, or tears in the bag??...Or any wear??

@@pleasebekindtwnty4sven Hi, I believe the stitching of bags are the weak point. The bag's stitching is amazing and has not begin to separate, ravel out, or get loose. The only tear is the one mentioned. The torn edges did not fray or expand at all allowing to hold her repair after 3 years. Tips: She empties out the contents and shakes it upside down now and then. Takes a garden hose and sprays it out, dries it OUT of direct sunlight. That's about the only care she does to it. I'm assuming to lose the dirt because she is a climbing fanatic and cares for her rope...does not step on her ropes that force grit into the rope and slowly over time begin to cut away at the rope's insides making it unsafe to climb with. Good luck.

I think it's worth the price... When I first saw the The prices for one of the backs I was like holy cow but I just ended up buying it and I don't regret it at all it's 100% worth the price... If you're thinking about getting a bag you like I would 100% said just getting it because you will regret it once they're out of stock......SO DO IT FRIEND BUY ONE..YOU WILL BE HAPPY AS EVER!!!

I got one for about $60. Considering a jansport is like 40-50 bucks now, I think it’s money well spent. The only maxpedition gear I don’t still have is small stuff I’ve lost or given away. The 1000D nylon with Teflon coating and YKK zippers really are a cut above most tactical fodder.
