5.11 now makes a waist belt set for the rush series. Just bought it and it's amazing. It is only sold by 5.11 at this time.

Durable bags, have all three in different colors black, green and grey in that order Instead of the laptop you can put soft or Kevlar etc ballistic padding or plates inside and have an added sense of security depending on your situation and usage Don’t care much for the concealed carry pocket as it’s pretty much useless unless you swing it around in front of you and use it as a front shield with the ballistic plate Still it offers very little protection from water penetration giving that up for tear away access I use them each for different purposes but the 12 gets most of the use these days as my EDC bag ✌️

I've been using a 5-11 Rush 24 pack in O.D. Green for 6 years as my EDC pack and really like it. I have it seatbelted on passenger seat of my unit. It carries spare rifle/pistol mags, an IFAC/extra TQs, spare handcuffs/flex cuffs, 2-1 liter water bottles in the side pouches, admin supplies, etc. And in the rear pocket, I have a Level 3A soft plate.

Been using the 24 for a decade & still going strong. Great trekking pack, had to attach extra padding on the strap for comfort for long distance. Black camo is our go to. Cheers Digger.!

5 11 does have waist buckles now. I bought one for my 24 hr pk. It was at the 511 store.

Side note I might do a layout like this with the Eberlestock Switchblade, Little Trick and big trick as they follow this sizing standard pretty well. All have ccw pockets and the big and littke expand for ar carry

Love the rush 24 2.0 I have one in multicam and the Moab 8 that I connect to it with the tier system. Only issue I have is there is almost too much organization. I went to the 24 from the Eagle enhanced 3 day which has pretty much zero organization and I found myself losing stuff in the multitude of pockets in the rush. I run the Eberlestock F5 Switchblade best combo of organization and space for an EDC pack

Well like you I have all three 12, 24 & 72 hr. bags. I love them all for different situations. I just bought the 511 chest pack and haven’t used it yet.

I lke Rush12, there were three such backpacks in use, two of them are version 1. One for the city walks is black, the second in a multicam for combat. After the destruction of the backpack at the front in the defense of the Donetsk People's Republic in 22, I took version 2. it does not have a mesh on the back, but when you are in a plate carrier, it is not so important. Great backpacks, thanks for the review

The 72 seems to be a 3 season pack at best. Since its classification of 72, multiple nights, the need for a sleep system has not been addressed or talked about. Perhaps warm weather capacity is implied regarding sleep system, but defiantly not winter. If the pack cannot not cargo a MSS sleep system on the interior then it would seem that the pack is not structurally suitable to cargo a MSS system on the exterior. I am trying to convince myself I need this pack, but it is not a 72, overnighter capacity for my geographic region.

I have used the 12 everyday for over a decade. I bought the 2.0 when it came out, its still in the plastic bag. I have the 74, it doesnt get much use.
