Which mic do you think had the better sound? 🤔

MKE600 has more bass and therefore seems to have more presence and the recording seems closer. Perhaps for your voice, which is low, it would be better to set the low cut filter on the MKE600 and that would improve intelligibility ... just wandering. Thanks for the comparison.

MKE600 sounded fuller with more low end; I liked it

Minimal EQ difference. Sennheiser has slightly more low end, Rode has slightly less. But it’s correct that a tiny EQ would make them identical. As such, I don’t think the Sennheiser’s higher price is justified. But it’d have been useful to see how directional each mic input level is, by speaking from the sides. That’s more important on a shotgun mic than tiny EQ differences.

당신의 목소리를 듣는 순간, Hollywood 배우나 성우 목소리를 듣는 줄 알았습니다. 너무 멋있고, 아주 드문 목소리군요. 나는 평소 NTG-2를 trash라고 생각하지만, 오래 전에, 그러니까 10여 년 전에 NTG2는 우리에게 가격 대 성능비의 대명사였지요. NTG2가 훨씬 소리가 거칠고, 소리 output도 약하고 그런 것 같군요. 나는 MKH-50, mkh-416, mkh-60을 주로 사용하는 field recordist인데, 한국에서는 MKE600이 NTG4+나 NTG3, NTG2보다 인기가 많은 듯합니다. 개인적으로 mkh-416이 MKE600보다 소리가 좋다고 생각하지만, 또 요즘에는 MKH-8060이나 SCHOEPS cmit 마이크를 많이들 사용하더군요. 개인적으로, ECM-673 중고를 내가 저렴하게 구입했는데, 그 소리 수준이 MKE-600과 비슷하지 않나 싶습니다. 제 채널에 비교 영상을 올린 게 있습니다. 당신의 목소리는 자주 듣고 싶은 멋진 목소리네요. 감사합니다.
