Take the plastic sleeve off the bolt handle. Its there to keep the handle from poking out through the cardboard box in shipping.

This "Marine" model is a misnomer. I don't believe they're referring to the Corps. I believe the marine they're referring to is the "Marine-Cote" finish...as in Water safe, rust resistant etc. The Model 1014 in the blued finish isn't referred to in that manner.
