Being transparent is the way to go these days... more truth you put out there - more authentic and reliable you become and that's a cash magnet today. If RED would've made "BEST CAMERA EVER" -ad it wouldn't have made as much noise as this (but being most advanced cinema camera manufacturer atm sure gives the rights to brag) since these kind of approaches have already been made in the last decade. This is the same reason why vlogging and behind the scenes have seen a tremendous boost in numbers.

Having actually shot on a RED 8K Helium camera, I can tell you that there are plenty negatives. The file sizes are absolutely ridiculous and if you decide to shoot at lower resolutions to avoid such crazy DIT workflow, it crops the senor making it impossible to shoot wide shots. Furthermore, if you lower the REDCODE data rate, it introduces noise into your shot. I'm way more on board with the RED Raven.

For a screen, 10k or more might be useful. For a camera, 8k is quite enough. I think you can film an IMAX movie with this camera

This is a fantastic ad, heres why. Most ads are deceiving. They make their equipment seem so much better than it is, often using false or lofty statements. This ad did the opposite to achieve the same thing. It makes be believe that its somehow not at all about the camera, yet at the same time....all about the camera. It geniously touts itself amongst the idea that its about the lenses, the lighting, the composition, eye, talent, then brings it back to the idea that this sensor can handle it all. Well done. Red, well done.

First of WOW! Stunning work especially in the low light shots. For me the telling thing to take away is that you stay in raw all through the process until the final render out. Also, that you colour correct before trans-coding which makes sense now that you say it but is the opposite to what you are taught when you learn editing (that colour comes last). Hey there, I have a kind of irrelevant question... But on your page, (Shot with/on RED) you write "Transformers: The Last Knight". ARRI wrote that on their list shot with ALEXA 65. Did they just use one for behind the scenes or did one of you write it on there to look better/bigger? I realise they could have used 2 cameras... But why? - Anyhow, did the actually use one or the other? And which on as their main?

they would have used the red as a B camera for getting into tighter places or shooting faster scenes, the Alexa 65 would have been there main camera but they wouldn't use a Red any more considering the Alexa mini replaces that exact problem with there same sensor in a smaller package so there's no need to go to Red any more for that reason.

Late...but ideal would be a S35 compact zoom with a servo. If sharpness is your highest priority than Fujinon Cabrio ZK / XK or Zeiss LWZ.3 is recommended.
