This video is so based and real. Floyd has been a longtime favorite character of mine and I got into twst around the time I started really struggling in school, leading me to look into both ADHD and autism. I still don't have an official diagnosis, but considering I've been thinking about it for 5 years, I don't think it's just "nothing". I've always seen a lot of myself in Floyd and always held the belief that he has ADHD but its super nice to see it put into a well documented video format. Very swag and cool have a nice day.

So I'm an idiot who doesn't recognize anything unless I'm actively thinking about it so Floyd having ADHD never occurred to me, but the thumbnail hit me like a bag of bricks with "OF COURSE FLOYD HAS ADHD!!!!!!" Like literally there's no way he couldn't and now that it's been pointed out I feel like an idiot because it's SUPER OBVIOUS and I feel like I should have noticed. Edit: 31:50 OMG my psychologist told me I couldn't possibly have ADHD if I have bipolar disorder even though I was diagnosed with it as a kid! 😭 I can't even get a new one because mental healthcare in my area sucks and I don't have any other options without paying out of pocket! Hearing that someone else was diagnosed with both is so validating thank you!

14:10 I remember when TW was just starting to get fan-trasnlations on KZbin and I clicked on this specific because it was Floyd related, I can't recall the channel or how accurate this line is now, so feel free to correct me. I recall Riddle calling out specifically that "how Jade must suffer having to deal with a sibling like him?!" And that statment broke me, I had to pause the video to peoperly sob over it, as I also have a sibling and hated when us being compared usually ment my sibling getting hurt (indirectly or not) by me. When I played the video again and saw Floyd suddenly loose interest and go away, I thought Riddle hit too close to home and genuinely hurt Floyd's feelings, and instead of communicating it to Riddle he said "meh" and left. I repeat, I don't now how accurate this is anymore and I didn't finish the video to see if it was mentioned, just food for thought

The moodswings from interested to uninterested or happy and exciteable to feeling literally nothing is just way too relatable. All points made in this video genuinely taught me quite a lot about myself especially with how horrible it is too live with it at times, the rants in this video mean a lot to me. From a character i didnt like to now one of my favourites... sigh... another for the kin list guys!!!

im gifted and ive always been good at learning and have heavily enjoyed it, but gosh worksheets had always made me sob at my desk and feel frustrated with my entire life leading up to that. i always had questioned why i couldnt put the things i learnt onto paper enough before completely abandoning it just a bit later. i knew that was a part of my adhd, but i never knew other people related to it.

The best way i kept my adhd under control is literally via multi-tasking. Bored of one task? Do the second one and Keep switching back n forth between these 2 tasks (since imo and personal experience, us adhders usually find it hard to get started on something tedious but eventually become so hyperfocused on it, BOOM suddenly its 12AM) ofc its not like this for everyone, just wanted to share this cuz why not

I also think Jade, Deuce and Kalim also have ADHD. Though, the former two's is a lot more subtitle. Hell, I think half the cast is neurodivergent in some way. Characters like Jamil, Azul, Vil, Rook, Idia, and all of Diasomnia show signs of autism. Riddle and Trey have OCD. Idia, Leona and Cater show signs of depression.

yaayyy happy (late) new year everyone 🎆🎇 I like how detailed the story in twst that further explains them in this video and I love the Floyd art at the end of the video, and I'm looking forward to Jade's analysis. As a twstie and an Octavinelle (trio) stan, watching this video and the overall story of twst reminded viewers and players that all people, even neurodivergent individuals, are intelligent in their own way and deserve equal acknowledgment and respect, regardless of gender and age. Another detail of Floyd that peaked me !! SLIGHT SPOILER IN BOOK 6 AND OTHER EVENTS (ig?) !! Azul revealed in book 6 that Floyd sometimes forgets to take his transformation potion because the potion is not tasty. As seen in events like vargas camp, the first halloween event, etc. It was not unusual for him to transform into moray eel form when he wished.

Hi high function autistic trans male here. And near the end of 2024 and I can not tell you how bad me being autistic was in the 90s-2010s! To abridge it a lot of teachers thought it could be cured by teaching me things, and a lot of teachers thought due to my grades getting up that in highschool (2010s) I was not needed anymore for the gifted program, but no one told me what I had. A teacher with no real degree in checking said I was autistic and that was the end of it. I had no idea until my 30s by my mom who kept that from me! And when I was getting diagnosed by a professional at November year 24 I was beyond pissed off! He kept saying things like, "Well you are a girl and girls are like this. So we do not know if you are really autistic. Plus I will admit there isn't a lot of study's of woman with autism." Me a trans guy. (....I am not like that, cause I was yelled/hit at a lot and shut up real quick to not make people angry due to my actions or mannerisms. I had to look at people, watch movies to understand how a person was like, emotions, and other things about people! Because I raised that my feelings didn't matter by my mom and the school, and my crying was for nothing. I am a male with the trauma of a woman! You do not want me to go into a gender debate with how woman who are autistic and males as well, cause I know you are not ready for that gender divide old man!) This is what I thought. I never said this to him cause my mom was right there and no way I can come out with her christian background. During the test I almost had certain moments of crying cause I didn't know some answers. It was so embracing. But at least I am glad that it took me last year in my 30s to know I am autistic, then someone who was hella depressed who suffers from golden child syndrome.

Im 21 and only recently did I start being followed by a professional who believes I have adhd (I dont have a psychiatrist diagnosis but... yknow), so Ive been getting increasingly curious to see adhd representation beyond the "quirky whimsical hyperactive pinkie pie" type of character bc it's one I simply cannot relate to. So Im very happy to see this video, abt a character I loosely recognize and a game I loosely heard about, exploring this aspect of myself Im super curious to understand more. (Spoiler for chapter 7!!!) This video reminds me when yuu and the other characters entered Floyd’s dream. Basically he brings them down into the ocean because he thought it was something else other than humans. The whole time in his dream before yuu and the crew came was him being bored asf bc nothing interesting else could happened afterwards despite all the success and ‘happy ending’ Malleus has given. A minute into the video and already sold. I love Floyd a lot even if he isn't my favorite character. Edit: I relate so much to not being able to do my homework and hating it, even though I don't have ADHD. In fifth and sixth grade I hated homework and never did it. I despised it. I remember sitting on the couch doing my homework at night (aka being forced to by my mom) and it took me HOURS. In seventh grade I pulled my act together though, since like I said, I don't have ADHD (at least not that I know of). I was just lazy, I guess. Also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Epel with a southern accent. It's how he was meant to be seen. Edit 2: Omg I HATE making my bed. Who cares? It's just going to get messed up again. Why does it matter if it looks good. It's my bed! And I also can't sit still. And I talk quickly. And I rant at my sister all the time and she hates it. Okay, maybe I should get tested for ADHD... Edit 3: Cater. Cater is my best friend. And so is Trey. And Riddle too.
