Art is the expression of ideas and emotions through a physical medium, like painting, sculpture, film, dance, writing, photography, or theatre, in addition, there is a whole business side of it. Painting is a form of expression clearly or do you have your own philosophy of what it is and isn't?

@AtelierofZ_Co24 correct, paintings can be art but it's not what art is. I'm just tired of people asking about painting whenever I tell them I'm a artist. All the world is brainwashed in thinking art is automatically a bunch of paintings. And I seriously think that most people paint not because they want to but they have been told that's what an artist is.

@@leststoner Interesting you mention this since this is my FAVORITE thing to talk about right now! I completely agree, creativity reaches far, far beyond painting, drawing, etc. My goal currently is to focus on where creativity is happening BEYOND the arts. I love painting, drawing, etc. but I'm just as fascinated by a creative engineer, architect, researcher, scientists, and definitely entrepreneur.
