The guy meant even stricter laws for the assaults. Also meaning, these cases should be given greater punishment than just imprisonment or no death sentence. There are even criminals who didnt have to serve the prison sentence. Sure all the cases the guy mentioned are already criminal acts but they are overlooked. Instead cows are given more important than girls and have stricter and harsher laws for consuming beef(honestly if u dont like beef, just avoid it🙄). Our government gives priority to religion(which should be a personal matter and not a social or national matter) than education, health care, human rights etc

@@afeefaummer4340 just a preliminary reading of laws will tell you that rape laws are stricter than beef consumption laws. I agree, the government should truly become secular and lift ban on cow slaughter. But it must be complemented with a ban on use of loudspeaker for azaan, a uniform civil code, no state funded madarsa, no state funded pensions to imam, no religious minority reservation (in AMU, JMI and many ), no public precession, no religious holidays, freeing the temple from state control, no state funding of waqf board, no blasphemy laws(can abuse gods). If you wish ri have a secular nation, let's have it completely.

@@jayantahuja7272 I am aware of the strict laws but when the court lets go of the criminals, i cant help but be frustrated. If there are laws, then these should be followed all the time. The reason why i said the beef ban should be lifted is because consuming a certain food is a person's choice(a part of free will). By banning it a person's free will is also restricted. I, too agree that our system should be more 'secular' by letting people from all religions perform their respective rituals.

Don't you think your frustration is based on a stereotype that a rape ACCUSED is always guilty? Think about it 2. Beef ban is in place for the same reason people can be jailed for insulting Ram, Budh or Allah. It is considered sacred by Hindu of some states. Where it is not, the ban is not in place. I do not have a choice to paint a picture of Allah if I want to or a right against noise pollution in my residence near a mosque but, I understand and respect sentiments of other religion. Why is there a need to raise the banner of "free choice" when it comes to eating a certain animal in certain states where the majority consider it sacred? 3. True, Secularism is about letting people do whatever they want in their homes. If its manifestation in secular places like on road creates trouble to the public, the state must act on it with no regards to sentiments. If a temple is built in the middle of a road, demolish it. If people are doing namaz on road, lathicharge them. While what they do in their home should not be the state's concern. Until this becomes acceptable, sentiments of people will have to be taken into account in state policies

Emotional angle: Cow milk is the 2nd food product that a baby drinks and is considered a vital part of nutrition in growing years it help in developing bone strength and provides nutrition for growth. Why would one take all the benefits and then slaughter the same animal, that is just being ungrateful? Vedic/Cultural/Hinduism side: Hinduism does not have any documents that say don't slaughter cows, all books that we have are written by Brahmins and they were predominantly vegetarians. Consuming any kind of meat would be sinful for them and the same has been projected in the Hindu scriptures and books because Brahmins were the only ones who could read and write and were allowed to document. Be logical here there were other castes who were kings, warriors, sailors, businessmen, laborers how do you expect them to do their daily work without consuming meat and not that they would be waiting for a chicken to get roasted. So probably beef was also part of their diet it's just undocumented. Country-Specific Side: A country can decide which animals are edible and which are not. Like in China Korea they are allowed to eat all animals. In USA they are allowed to eat beef and deer and in Denmark, they have a festival that slaughters dolphins, because it's allowed. So if India decides to ban beef people should adhere to it. This has nothing to do with any religion.

Dont be a jerk No muslim community in India did anything as a act of goodwill when people knew mandir was destroyed to make a mosque. Muslim People said that they didnt carry sins of their ancestors but the same people said that generation of brahmins should be punished for what their ancestors did. Sir, India before independence was united for freedom but you go a little more back , almost every indian was greedy of power to live a good life and hold status in the society, whether it be hindu or muslim and this mindset was the main reason why this dalit and discrimination thing woke up but the real meaning of this caste system wasnt meant to be this way, it was set according to what roles each section of the community had to do. And you know that very well And also i was talking about today's situation of terrorism that is trending, if you take the defination of terrorism that you stated, then a common man also becomes a terrorist. Please go behind the logic rather than keeping it to the meaning of a word. Why dont you say building of babri masjid was a act of terrorism as it was built against the will of people at that time. Destroying of babri masjid was revenge for that. If dalit were discriminated for a long time, then why caste based reservation still continues in India. Why isnt that being abolished and reservation based on economic backwardness is being applied? Its not hindus only, anti hindus take advantage of this and divide hinduism. Do you realise why hindu people act so protective of their religious belief, it is because such people who dont go behind logic and people who take advantage of things like caste to gain popularity and power. And since the guy who commented here that mob lynching was done by hindus only, thats why according to his logic, i said most terrorists are muslims. Don't say, 'you should not do that it's against my religion.' But say, 'sorry I can't do that it's against my religion.' You respect my religion, I respect your religion. No one should force anyone to follow according to anyone's religion. I understand that for Hindus, Cow is sacred and I respect that. But you see, my freedom and pleasure, or my culture and religion in its attainment should not disturb any individual or community. It should be my moral duty that yours or anyone's sentiments in any ground be it religious, etc. is not disturb in any manner. Your freedom should not violate my freedom. We ain't saying, we'll slaughter Cow here and there in front of you (Hindus). But by banning eating of beef you are violating my/others freedom. Most of our elders won't listen or agree to our opinions. But we are the future, what we learn and develop today will determine our India. We should not always put our interest first, we should be more aware, caring and responsible of others too. India being a diverse country (like it says "India, a world within a world"), where religion is one of the major factor that divides us, we must learn how to love and be united. Isn't it funny in a way, people gives so important to strict religious rules but don't realise actually what their God really wants (God is almost kept secondary). Your God wants you to love and respect everyone. And bdw, no God will hate his/ her own child because they love and respect people of other religion right?? If He/She does, then that's not a loving god! I as a Christian, if my God hate me because I love and respect people of other religion more than my religious rules. I won't worship Him anymore, for He is not a loving God. I'll worship a God who will not care about stupid rules to follow, but that gives more important to all people and teaches us to love and respect everyone. P.S. I can't wait when people will realise that humanity is more important than religion, dogma or tradition.
