I think the reason for MSM's trending is that teaser they released. Where Ayat calls Talha for help. That scene did not appear in both these episodes but everyone watched it in anticipation. It was clever marketing and it worked in their favour.

Roshi isn’t dumb, she’s simply innocent and naive. Many people are like that until life teaches them otherwise. I still remember when I was in college I was also naive and used to trust people easily because I thought they were all my friends. After experiencing many betrayals, I finally got a reality check about people. Facing life’s challenges makes a person mature, and sharing such experiences can help girls learn important lessons.

People dance at their functions to show their joy and Indian movies have had the most impactful shaadi dance songs. Crazy are those whose brothers drag their sisters from weddings like farjad. How is it mating they r not dancing naked or doing vulgar movements . Please don’t call yourself liberal and say that dancing at your own, your friends or even strangers wedding is bad in any way. It is a way to express joy in our cultures and should Be appreciated as such. Men have always found ways to criticize a women’s body and this is one such form of hatred since no one writes mayoob comments on men’s dancing videos . Having said this i also agree with Hassan that once I put something out for consumption then other faceless masses can write and comment , but you should Have the jigra to ignore them keeping in view the frustrated patriarchal men in your society that you are dealing g and living with.

MSM: Popularity reasons are 1) Light-hearted drama (sometimes people just like to watch something light after having a busy day and are drowning with their own real life issues 2) Young generation between 18-25 would find the storyline relatable. Many young girls fantasize romanticizing with an older guy or getting married to run away from studies. Even though Hasan commented that it is not understandable that a 19 year old is so good at making presentation but not identifying the harasser (Shariq), It is very much possible. Being good at something in academics and being naive in identifying harassment tactics at young age are 2 separate things. Being a woman, I can say that many young ladies between 18-25 in Pakistan can act like that because of the lack of exposure. When you are young, that's a very delicate phase of life that you like attention, you like it when someone praises you and has a soft corner for you and matured men can take advantage of that and you won't be able to identify that that's basically a subtle way of harassment. You will be shocked when you hear about teacher-student relationships. Meem se Mohabbat makes all the sense minus the OTT childish portrayal of a 19 year old.

MSM: Initially I was not enjoying the drama and almost gave it up but suddenly it's OST got released and the scenes shown in the video hooked me up, so then I thought of giving it another try. You guys cannot relate with Roshi's character because now you are adults and do sit and talk with teenagers. I am a school going girl and I have met many girls similar to Roshi who are intelligent but don't want to work hard and that is why they are considered dumb. Talking about safety issue, some teenage girls are not concerned about their safety. SMD: People bashing Sadaf for not marrying Bilal A. and claiming her current abuse and cheating situation as karma is deeply problematic. No one deserves abuse or infidelity-ever. Regardless of Ammar's actions now, when Sadaf made her choice, he likely presented himself as a completely different person. While Bilal A.’s issues, such as being a womanizer and habitual drinking, were valid concerns then, what Sadaf is facing now is entirely unjust. It's akin to blaming someone for refusing to marry a murderer because their own spouse later commits a crime. Additionally, it’s crucial to separate actors from the characters they portray. Many dramas, like Khuda Aur Muhabbat, have perpetuated the idea that rejecting someone is a sin or brings misfortune, and this narrative is harmful.

Why am I watching Meem Se Mohabbat? Okay, so I am from Bangladesh, and this is my first time watching Ahad Raza Mir and Dananeer’s performances. I started watching this drama and immediately got hooked on it. The reasons are: 1. It is a very light and charming drama-fun to watch. A jolly character like Roshi brings a smile to my face, and she reminded me of my old teenage self. I used to tell my friends in school, “I don’t want to study that much; I want to get married at an early age,” and my friends used to laugh. So her character is somewhat relatable to my past self. I love watching her innocence. She is literally like a butterfly. 🦋 2. I am also enjoying Talha’s story. I want to know what happened with him and Mohid, and how Mohid will be normal again, which is also a major reason why I am so invested in this drama. 3. I just love 'love stories' between two people with opposite personalities. 😅 At this point, we see that both characters are very much annoyed with each other, so I am eagerly waiting to see how they will develop a soft corner for one another. In the OST, their chemistry looked so fiery! and the rain scene OMG🔥 I am in love with that scene! I am really looking forward to seeing their chemistry. 4. I am also excited to see Roshi and Mohid’s first meeting. I am already loving the bonding between Roshi and Talha’s father. 5. The pace of this drama is perfect-not too slow, not too fast-which makes it even more enjoyable. So, overall, the story of this drama is not very complex, but the presentation is amazing. Everyone has delivered wonderful performances in their roles. Even the annoying neighbors are entertaining to watch! My mother does not understand Urdu, yet she also enjoys this drama because it obviously has its own charm. Hopefully, the drama will continue like this, and they won’t ruin it for us!

Both episodes of Meem se Mohabbat are still trending on Monday with 11M+ views each (almost reaching 12M). I am not sure why you guys are surprised that it's trending? It is Ahad Raza Mir's comeback show, and in last three four episodes, his screen time has increased. People are mainly watching it for him. Please appreciate his starpower. Also, Talha doesnt have romantic feelings for Roshi. He is just being protective of her because she is a new intern and visibly impulsive and naive. Seeing how immature she is. He picked creep vibes from Shariq. There is no "Love" or fascination from either side yet. Aap log boht jaldi main lag rahye hain. Farhat Ishtiaq builds stories, please be patient. Even in Yakeen ka Safar, Zubia made similar mistake and got manipulated by Nabeel Zuberi's character and was ready to get married to him, before she got saved by Ahad's character and then she grew into a mature person and became a stronger person, AFTER that dhuka. I would suggest you to give both Roshi and the story time to buildup.😮

I am tired of watching the seriousness, complexities and the overly dramatic situations in our dramas I understand that it's important, but I would prefer it in small doses. A drama could be as lighthearted as Meem Se Mohabbat and a character could be as bubbly and non-serious as Ayat Suleman and Dananeer is doing outstanding! The pairing is new and fresh, and they look really cute together. I love Dananeer and Asif Raza Meer scenes together. I absolutely love to watch Arshad Mehmood again after a long time. They also had a big age gap. Marina Khan’s character was doing house job while Rabat Kazmi was the senior consultant at the hospital. Also at home, they have a very family like house help lady. Then the funny neighbour aunty. People loved Dhoop Kinare and didn’t question why is Zoya so stupid and naive. Nobody bothered about the age gap either. I know things and our mindsets have changed a lot since then but let’s just take MSM as Farhat Ishtiaq’s tribute to Haseena Moeen and enjoy it for what it is.

I am watching Meem se mohabbat and honestly have been enjoying the character development. I agree with Aamna's take on IQ vs EQ. Roshi is smart but has also been raised in a very loving, sheltered and trusting environment. Hence, she is more trusting of Shariq and repeatedly gives him the benefit of doubt. At the end of the day, life experiences are what cause you to be more cautious and she has not been through that yet. Her character will most likely mature through the series and become less naive and gullible as it progresses.

Thank you, Amna, for highlighting this critical issue. The trend of sharing dance videos online has become alarming, as it can be misused by strangers for entertainment. In today's unsafe environment, where both boys and girls face physical and mental risks, such public displays can have serious consequences. Respectable families should encourage modesty, especially when it comes to explicit content. Sharing intimate moments online can be harmful, morally and religiously. Let's keep our joyful moments private and avoid over-sharing on social media.

I just think roshi is very naive. She isnt THAT close with her sister even and so just want some close friends for comfort like a typical teenager but she takes this “wanting someone to share your thoughts and just finding comfort in someone” feeling as if only marriage can fix this. Also she appears to be a people pleaser because of this feeling too, as she just wants to be friends with anyone.. she cant hurt someone or say “no” to her friend but can lie to her family for him.. this is peak people pleasing. I understand where roshi is coming from and am enjoying MSM and i am seated for the coming episodes 💗

Re: Meem Se Mohabbat- I am starting to think there might be a gap between the writing and the direction. The writing might have been that Roshi is naive and innocent (most of Farhat Ishtiaq's leading ladies are innocent), the direction might have taken it to a "stupid" level. Especially when Aamna brought up Yakeen Ka Safar, if I remember correctly, Sajal's character also went to an empty apartment with a guy when she was in college and then when she realized something felt wrong, she ran away and bumped into Ahad's character for the first time. The character execution made sense then and the evolution of the character over time. I feel like here the direction is flawed. Also, I think the writing is inspired by Dhoop Kinaray (I grew up watching it with my parents). Older matured guy, younger silly intern.... and how they both become the yin to their yang. However, the execution is miles apart (before people jump on me 😂). Dananeer has definitely taken inspiration from the character Zoya and has this pouty face like Marina Khan in that drama, her dressing is also like her from that drama, which made sense then but looks off now. Lastly, one dialogue was straight out of that drama, I am paraphrasing but it went like "main jo bhi karti hu, aap khush nahi hotay hain, mujhey aap bata de, main apko kaisay khush karoon". Having all this said, I still watch this drama in bits and pieces because I admire both Ahad and Dananeer and want to see where this goes! 😊

There’s a quick reel of Amir khan (Bollywood), where the qs was about pay disparity between male & female actors and his answer resonated, he said, the pay (value/views) is in proportion to the pull of audience an actor brings to the product. So I believe it’s Ahad Raza Mir, Asif Raza Mir, plus Dananeer has fan following. I mean SMD BEING THE WORST DRAMA IN PAKISTAN’s dramas industry history, has huge fan following and views. Then, MSM drama is pleasant and light hearted and far better than SMD. So it’s trending

Watching MSM as the story is moving and the character of Roshi is similar to Mustafa in KMKT and for sure Roshi will be a mature character at the end of the drama...so looking forward to watch the drama...and side stories are also engaging and funny...so overall good drama....

Guys I love Meem se Mohabbat. When you have so many bad dramas on air like Sun Mere Dill.. you need a something that's a bit light to watch.. I think the chemistry between Roshi and Talha is really good .. looking forward to the coming episodes

i am watching meem se mohabbat solely for ahad character. Also i trust farhats writing to gve a banger like yks and kmkt. The age gap is red flag to me too but after ignoring that its quite likeable and the troupe of serious boy and bubbly girl is fan favourite and ahad as serious guy is just....cherry on top. Also is it neccesary for every drama to be hard hitting. I love the simple comedy it is presenting... And uff ahad's expressions. So basically i am watching it for AHAD RAZA MIR!!!!!

I left watching MSM after the first episode, then for some reason I kept getting feed on that drama and decided to watch only important scenes and actually I ended up loving it except the neighbour track..It was light hearted and fun..It was not that bad as I thought it to be..Also I loved Roshi's character after watching 8 episodes..The show has something in it that kept me hooked..Ofcourse,Farhat Ishtiyaq writing and Ahad's choice of script..I am looking forward to see their progress..I hope I won't be disappointed

MSM: I think it's well directed. It has a good pace. Ahad is v popular, and it's his comeback drama that's drawing the audience. Also, Talha s back story is a hook. Overall, it's a feel-good drama and not stagnant.

People are watching Meem se Muhabbat because it is HEAVILY inspired by Haseena Moin dramas. Some themes are lifted directly from them. So there is a lot of nostalgic value to it.

MSM: I think, despite the inconsistencies in plot sometimes, the real intrigue value of this show is Ahad and Dananeer. Ahad performs phenomenally, each and every expression is so controlled and well delivered! And same with Dananeer. I agree that sometimes her character seems too bubbly and bewakoof, but her acting is AMAZING! The subtlety in her expressions, the tiniest little change is very well done! The other intrigue value is the mystery behind Mohid. And his relationship with Talha. What happened to his mother? How bad was it that he’s so traumatized that he doesn’t speak? How is Roshi going to help them? I think the fact that we still have these questions and they are able to keep our interest says a lot. I agree that the inconsistencies are present but honestly I’m enjoying the drama. Light hearted content doesn’t have to just be in Ramadan plays. I’d prefer more light hearted romances over a longer period of time, to be honest!

I wanna tell both you the reason why it is trending rn because we as audience and viewers are those pakistani watchers who started watching pak dramas with suno chanda, chupke chupke etc.. and are fond of light hearted rom-coms and with all the serious dramas going on we feel that though they are important for awareness they are not always fun and easy going..... We KNOW and UNDERSTAND that the drama is a bit overacted all throughout but I am not fond of y'all bashing over it, and giving early judgementss LIKE TAKE A BREAK PLEASE this is just constructive criticism for your review please give the drama time as it will unravel it's magic when its timee.

Writing here late and hope you read it. About MSM i wanna absolutely skip first 4 episode except ahad and dananeer's interaction and pretend it starts from epi 5. And there onwards it was really an enjoyable drama. Theme of the drama might be along the lines of ramzan dramas, so be it coz its enjoyable. Hasan pointed in the initial review that dananeer acts nice but the character itself is ott and i completely agree coz she is getting progressively better. She is playing the animated character really well. The drama is doing really good for the last 2 weeks. I can name some of the past bubbly characters like rumi, meenu performed by hania and ayeza and i somehow find dananeer alot more natural in her expressions. And also liked how they wrap tracks so quick be it mahin umar track or the shariq track. And such naive girls do exist and yes intellegence and hard work are two different things. Roshi had academic intellegence but she was too lazy too study and wants life easy. And there are people who actually dread studies despite having decent iq. And the presentation part is also believable coz such people only work when they are doing it for someoneelse as a favor. It happens to alot of lazy people who dont move an inch for their own work but seems to be hyperactive for a loved one. So theres not much problem there. And as for ahad and dananeer scenes they are really good. So far i dont think either of them have anything for each other. Ahad seems really responsible and a gentlemen

I love how "Meem Say Muhabbat" portrays a lighthearted and positive narrative, where family dynamics are healthy and loving, free from toxic traits. The intact family values and the endearing character of the dada stand out, making the drama feel real and heartwarming. Unlike many shows filled with scheming and conflict. This one focuses on herione who is genuinely kind, loving, and trustworthy. I hope in this drama the heroine is allowed to falter, learn, and grow without being judged. I hope they show its okay to mess up and still be loved, reinforcing the idea that relationships are about understanding, forgiveness, and personal growth..

I will talk about Meem SE Mohabbat. Bringing in my perspective. I am very much like Talha in real life. However I am not married yet. So what I can say is that the writer is very smart in her choice of female lead. What you need to understand is that Talha was married and has a child. He lost the love of his life and is very dedicated in raising his son. To him that is his goal, his purpose of life. But he is not able to communicate much with him. But when he sees a girl who is able to bond with his child, it will bring his attention to her. Also since the girl is naive, it brings out the protective feelings in him ensuring the girl does not end up losing her innocence when dealing with the world. A fatherly feeling when her daughter turns into a teenager 😂. Anyways there should be a lot of tussle in his head, it will not be a simple marriage to which he agrees. It will be fun to watch. Talha's father, Roshi's family has a very important role to play here. But I agree with Amna begum it will be an interesting journey.

I don't think I agree with Amna on SMD. The message was not properly conveyed through the story. All we saw was that Sadaf was ready to sell herself, but as soon as she got a marriage proposal, she called Amar and said yes. She was constantly listening to Hamsha and believed that Bilal was a playboy. There was never a scene where Sadaf acknowledged the love from Bilal or became overwhelmed by it. Sadaf and Amar were just enjoying the perks Bilal was showering them.

I am watching Meem se Mohabbat because: 1. Ongoing drama- I love watching ongoing dramas because I love to be a part of the ongoing discourse surrounding it in real time and I have something to look forward to. 2. Why MSM?: Out of all ongoing dramas I am watching Iqtidar and Meem se Mohabbat. I tried Sunn Mere Dil and gave up on it cuz it was too much. No other drama caught my eye. The reason I LOVE watching MSM is that it has the comedic nature of a Ramzan drama and depth of a normal pakistani drama in terms of plot line and characters. MSM keeps things light (through roshi) while also discussing difficult topics (through talha). On Roshi's naivety: I feel she has grown up in a privileged family. Being a part of that bubble I feel she hasn't interacted with the outside world and strangers much hence, she trusts even shitty people like Shariq. Now that she is getting out of her house (this internship), through this Shariq incident, I feel, she will learn better how to gauge people. I am glad we got a representation of a character in her late teens. She might not be as "smart" as Sharjeena but she has a long way to go still. Yes, many women (including me) are not as naive as Roshi at 19 years of age but we all make mistakes (due to inexperience) and what I am really looking forward to see is Roshi's growth.
