It's slower to be passed from stomach into the small intestine when food is in the stomach, so it's more at risk for degradation. Some will still make it through, especially if you use the arginate salt, but it's still best when taken on empty stomach

no it doesn't need to be enteric coated, as the arginate salt is really stable in the stomach. I don't know how much timing actually matters, but I think your approach is a solid one
