I don’t think he wants His sons and daughters to be begging bread all the days of their earthly life. If unbelievers can have why not the ones that trust in him. I don’t want to live in poverty so I steal and I don’t want to be to rich that I forget about my Savior but because the Most High create me I am worthy to have all that I deserve heavenly and earthly. And if I didn’t deserve it He wouldn’t allow me to have. Why can’t we have both the FATHER and his earthly blessings.

When I was younger I wanted to be rich but that was before I truely realized that this life is temporary and these eartlhy riches don't last forever and isn't the key to happiness. Now I can be fine with just making enough to be comfortable. Not struggling but also not loaded. But should God make me wealthy one day I have plenty of plans to bless others with it. Admittedly I may buy a few wants like a classic muscle car, motorcycle and maybe a nice house but I would not spend millions on a huge mansion i don't need or a private jet or a million dollar Bugatti either. That's way excessive when those millions could be going to charities, church, and several other better uses.

I don't believe God has a problem with Christians being rich. As a person who comes from a middle class background, it is tempting to look to money as comfort and identity. God had to convict me of this when I was struggling to find work. I went on mission trip to "underdeveloped countries" the poor were content and trusted in God. In America, we are conditioned from childhood that money =success, happiness, power, love. But God is greater than money.

Jesus said it is easier for a camel to go thru the eye of a needle then a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Jesus tells a young rich man to sell all n give it to the poor n come follow me. He could not do it. He ask what he must do to have eternal life. This is what Jesus had told him to do. The young man walk away sad because his wealth means more to him then eternal life.

Christian's can be rich as long as they didn't get it from doing evil. People think that they're saved simply by being poor but that's not the case. It's harder for a rich man to be saved but not impossible. If you put God first in your life then it doesn't matter how much money you have. Remember Job, he was willing to give up his riches but God knows the heart so he made him even richer. Riches can be good for a Christian if God gives him the grace not to be consumed by his riches. Many people desire to be rich but riches can become a stumbling block. What kind of God will give a person riches if it will prevent him from serving him? What many people who desires riches need is money management skills.

A true believer and follower of CHRIST, I mean one who heeds the HOLY SPIRIT is already rich. However there are those who equate having worldly riches as to being blessed of the LORD. I don't know that might be all good, fine and dandy but I just want what GOD has for me so I can better serve HIM and be obedient to HIS word. There’s also an interesting verse in Proverbs 30:7-9 talking about how this man (Sorry I forgot his name) asked God not to make him rich nor poor because “9 If I have too much, I might reject you and say, 'I don't know the Lord.' Great video, bro. I believe that all things are made through him & for him. Money should be used in a way that glorifies God. We are to worship God not money. Money is just one of the many vehicles used by God for provision but ultimately its God that provides. Praise be to Jehovah Jireh our provider.

If you work honestly to get your money, and remember that everything is a blessing from God, there is no problem. God has a problem with people who lie, cheat, and steal, to get their money. God also does not look favorably on those who hate and envy others for what they have. The people who believe that government should forcibly take wealth from other people and give it to them, when they refuse to work, are also not serving God.

I was reborn almost two years ago. In the midst of a struggle which isn’t too surprising now that I understand His purpose for my life. One thing I’ve noticed is this. Worry about money and riches and there will be no provisions. Pray that the Lord supplies you and you will be provided for. I’ve learned so much from the Word and through your channel brother. This really helped open my eyes when it comes to being "rich" as a Christian... Thank you brother. 🙏 I like to think of the idea of a bow and arrow... I grew up my entire life in poverty, living paycheck to paycheck as an adult. (That's the bow being drawn back) and it's conditioned me to be humble and living with my wages. Now, I've decided I want to become more wealthy (through real estate lol) I want to help answer people's prayers of owning a home and achieving the "American dream" in doing so I pray that God allows me to become very wealthy (the bow being shot to the skies above). Ultimately, I want to be wealthy so I have more free time to glorify Gods kingdom... I want to give my money to the poor, I want to give my money to my church that I'm a member of, and to have more free time to pursue God's name, and to start up a Christian based company. I've prayed to God about this and I pray that he'll guide me on this journey and be my ultimate friend, father, mentor, and "business partner" (I mean that in an innocent way of course) haha.

I believe pretty much as you described. I also believe that coming into money will enhance or make prominent whatever is in your heart. If you're generous, you'll be more so. If you're a thief, you'll still be a thief, but with money. If you're thrifty, you'll still be thrifty on your spending and so on. The lazy will still be lazy and the hard worker will continue to work hard. If I ever come across unexpected money, I believe God will be see what I do with the new found money.

My perspective is based on being American where we are rich in comparison to the world at large. I am not a rich American yet I am rich as I have two paid off cars 3 meals each day and all my needs. I know a "wealthy" Christian in my community. He has a theology degree, and he does more for our community than most Christian's would ever do in their lifetime. He even has a radio program on a local radio program for reaching the lost. He's a blessing to our community!!!🙏🙏🙏

He is literally the wealthiest person there is and practically no one seems to have a major bone to pick with him. He lives in the same smaller house he has always been in, drives the same car, and is just a humble dude for what he has built up. If I won the lottery I would share it with family, then set up a nonprofit to help people in need. I would also pick 1 person or a family every year to totally help (house, food, car, job). If I ever get out of the financial hole I'm in i want to help others and even change my career from this negative job I'm in to one that helps people and makes me feel better about what I do.

Luxury is a sin in a world filled with destitute, starving people. If you are a Christian, you are expected to help those in need while denying yourself. There is an opportunity cost with our resources when we choose luxury over charity. This is why God instructs us to forego luxury and instead use our resources for charity.

For me I totally agree with everything in this video, God is our source and I know I wouldn’t own my own business or my own home without him, I’m not rich but God has blessed me with everything I need and then some but in turn I always remember that he is my source not my business or ability or whatever and I tithe/offer and give regularly to churches and whatever there mission is (buying bibles, preaching in the jail/prison, giving food for the homeless or people in need, mission trips etc) and I can say that God is faithful and gives seed to the sower, we we’re brought up in our church this way by people who’s fruit lines up with this and God has blessed all of us because of following his principles in his word 🙏🏻👏

Yeah in both examples in the Bible he told the rich men to forsake everything, give their money to the poor, and follow him. The men couldnt do it. This was an example of where they true heart was. God wasnt saying that all of us should give up our homes and live on the streets for him, What he was saying is if he called you to drop everything and follow him would you do it?

Chicken Banana Hey, can you please explain this to me: Abraham was rich, Isaac was rich, Jacob was rich, Josef was rich... Are they not blessed...? Jesus never said that it's impossible for the rich to enter heaven (only very difficult). Instead he said (after being asked who can be saved if it is so difficult for rich people to enter heaven): "With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26) So, Allen is right, it is about how you acquired your wealth (is it from God or from Satan) and how you use your wealth (are you doing the will of God or are you doing what is from Satan and the world).

God will bless a man with riches because he has put that man on a path to help the poor or to sponsor various movements to win more souls to the Kingdom of God. God has seen the heart of the man, he trusts the man because even when the man had little he helped others and gave into the building of Gods kingdom. Yes Christians can be rich because God make them givers to the whole world, and by doing so, they can still share the Gospel to the poor, letting them know that God loves them and will always provide.

I believe very few people can be rich and remain faithful. Even in the church money will take your mind away from what God has for you to do. Most of the larger churches get caught up in raising money for projects and activities that the Lord Never asked them to do.

What I don't understand is that if during that time socialism was good. Because people on the comments are basically saying that you can't be rich. One thing I say is that you shouldn't be forced by the government to take your money away for what they think is better for the poor. I believe that if God blessed you with money, you should use that money to please God by helping others. But it has to come out of your heart to be willing to serve others with it, not be persecuted for being rich like the way is happening now. The love of money is the root of all evil.

The fact that the bible states "The love of money is the root of all evil" indicates that money is a dangerous thing at best. "Word of Faith" or "Prosperity Gospel" preachers are/were immensely rich: Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Paula White, Creflo Dollar, Jesse Duplantis, T. D. Jakes, Joseph Prince (birth name Xenonamandar Jegahusiee Singh), Oral Roberts, Billy Graham, Robert Schuller... and many more. WHAT DID JESUS TEACH ABOUT RICHES? Kenneth Hagin claims not only for himself but for the Bible's written promise, "He [also] wants His children to eat the best, He wants them to wear the best clothing, He wants them to drive the best cars, and He wants them to have the best of everything." (Quoted by D.L. McConnell a different Gospel p.175) Jesus said "Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God." (Luke 6:20) Who's right? Was it worldly riches he was promising or spiritual blessings? Throughout the Bible there is a constant warning of riches being a snare. David who had it all prayed that the Lord would not give him too little, that he would be in need or too much that he would forget God. In the middle ages the church thought that for one to to be poor was equivalent to being spiritual. Today it is on the opposite extreme, to be rich shows God's blessings. They have fixed their eyes on earth and become subject to the earthly law of gravity, instead of fixing their eyes to heaven above by true faith. Do riches prove God's blessings? Nothing could be further from the truth. Their are many a heathen and atheist who are rich despite their disbelief. Prosperity is not an absolute to show Gods hand in one's life, it might in fact show the opposite. Proverbs 16:16 tells those who want to pursue God - it is better to get wisdom instead of gold. Matt 6:19-21: "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; "but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Jonathan Edwards said "Aim at heaven and you get earth thrown in, aim at earth and you get neither." Matt 13:22-23: "Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful." V.23"But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty." Avanzini distorts this scripture like no other saying that the seed is money and that we can get a hundred fold return. Do we see this taught by Jesus or the disciples? No! This is an insertion to attract increase, mainly to himself. Jesus explains the parable of the sower by saying in vs.19 the seed is the word and before that he explains how the people need ears to hear so they can understand and be fruitful. In vs. 37 he explains further that the sower of the good seed is the son of man which is either Jesus himself or those who preach the same message of his word. The good seeds are the sons of the kingdom. In other words those born of incorruptible seed which is the word of God 1 Pt.1:23 are in the world as a growing plant to produce fruit of the spirit. Matt 10:38: "And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. Mark 8:34-37: "When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it. "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? "Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? In other words the pursuit to be financially free and keep on gaining is not what we are to be focused on. Denying oneself may mean to give up a lot. It depends on how attached and attracted ones soul is to the comfortable things of life. Luke 12:15-21: And He said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses." Then He spoke a parable to them, about a rich man who was planning his future expansion, he sums it up in vs.21"So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God." Do we ever hear sermons on the TV of being rich toward God without money? I think not! Luke 14:33: "So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple." This again is a hyperbole. Give up your possessions for self use (sometimes completely divorcing oneself from them) so as not trusting in the world but God alone. WERE THE DISCIPLES RICH? 2 Cor. 8:9: "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich." This is spiritual riches in Christ not a promise of earthly gain. Why is it spiritual riches? Because Christ actually said the poor are blessed not cursed. Not because He made them wealthy but because they inherited the kingdom of God. Jesus did not change ones status in life but He certainly changed their hearts attitude. Rom. 2:4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering.” Rom. 9:23 “ that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory.” Eph. 1:7 “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” Eph. 3:8 “To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ” Matt 19:23-25: Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven." And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?" They were not astonished because they were rich and wondered about themselves, Jesus is talking about someone other than them. However in Luke 18:28-30 Peter being convicted of this states, "See, we have left all and followed You." Peter's perception was that they had no riches in money or property since he says they left it all behind. So why do some say they were wealthy? Paul makes it clear 2 Cor. 6:9-10: "as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things." How were they made rich? Col. 1:27 “To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” The apostle Paul wrote in 1 Cor. 4:11-12: "To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless. And we labor, working with our own hands. " Acts 3:6: Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." This does not mean they had none on them at the time; they had NO money. These are words out of their own mouths recorded by the Holy Spirit through their hands as Scripture. Acts 20:33-35: "I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. "Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me. "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" Paul says it was good to work with his hands, he showed by example to help those less fortunate by hard work. 1 Tim 6:3-12: " If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses." Those who want to become rich now suffer a loss in faith, as Jesus said you can’t serve two masters. There’s nothing wrong with having money but there is a lot wrong with money having you. How can you tell the difference, just listen to the message and find out where they fit it in. Look at what they teach, Godliness means more blessing = money. Kenneth Copeland writes, "Do you want a hundredfold return on your money? Give and let God multiply it back to you. He urges his supporters, "Invest heavily in God; the returns are staggering, ... "Every man who invests in the Gospel has a right to expect the staggering return of one hundredfold." (Laws of Prosperity , pg.67) . #

I do not pretend for a moment to have your biblical knowledge Pastor Parr. I do believe that some are blessed from the Father with great wealth. I do have a hard time accepting that means we can live in very expensive houses, drive very expensive cars, living in excess much greater than what we truly need. There are those not only in our community, in our states, but certainly other places in the world that are starving daily, and go homeless. , There are so many parts of the world where the gospel has not been shared. Our missionaries financially struggle. Sometimes the difference between the Gospel being shared or not his finances. I have a hard time accepting that on Judgment Day, although we are blessed with Grace, still will have a hard time answering for what we did with our money.

The reason why I want to build wealth is because I saw a lot of struggle growing up..and I was never taught about how money works (how responsibility works, to be honest) and so I saw my single mom depressed and making bad choices. its generational curses..impulse buying, wrong use of any incoming money, gluttony..etc. Struggle and lacking is not from God...God doesn't wanna see us without what we need..but he will let it happen when we are not responsible and grateful and focused. The wealth I'm building is to bless my family..to have more children and not go through what I went through in my first pregnancy in high school..so that I can bless those who need it! especially now during and the aftermath of coronavirus..and also helping those persecuted Christians around the world who need supplies, bibles, etc. I want overall wealth in God's kingdom..building wealth has been requiring me to become disciplined, responsible, and ultimately I found God's presence in my life while on my journey..i used to daydream about cars, clothes, trips, or just being rich and never working..but that's not how it works...i cant wait for what God has been preparing for me to bless my children, and their children and others who are in need, and to bring Glory to Him. amen..

You are asking some GREAT questions Orville. This is the way Christians learn and grow. NEVER stop asking questions. So, the Bible teaches that Christians can approach God's throne with confidence but not non-Christians. Think about it. They have no relationship with God. We pray BY the spirit IN the name of Jesus Christ TO the Father. They do not have the Holy Spirit and they don't trust in the name of Jesus Christ. Now, can God in His sovereignty choose to answer their prayers? Yes, I suppose so but that is not seen much in the scriptures.

It is not a sin to be rich with money. Use your wealth WISELY! Be sure you are helping out people who need it and are not going to use it for a drug habit or a gambling habit. We need to be good stewards with the gifts God has given us. One more thing: you CANNOT out give God! He will not let you!
